1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in a great location! Located on the ground level of a historic Tybee building with oceanviews from the shared furnished porch. Located just 4 houses back from the beach and within 2 blocks of restaurants, shops, nite life, and attractions like the Tybee Pier and Marine Science Center.
The apartment was partially updated in early 2010. The living area has a Queen sleeper sofa, a 32" Flat Screen TV with Satellite TV, DVD, and an iPod docking station with CD and Radio. After a horrible experience at a Savannah hotel, my best friend and I were craving a relaxing getaway. Tybee Vacation Rentals made everything easy and efficient from check-in to check-out. Each staff member we encountered was courteous and professional.
When we walked into the house, we couldn't believe how cute and quaint it was. Each room was immaculate. The home was well-stocked to the point that we felt very comfortable and "at home." The neighborhood was peaceful and we enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs and watching the sun set. The best part is not having to pay for parking to go the beach since it is only a few feet away!Overall, I have very positive experience and I can't wait to come back here with my family and husband. -

We rolled into town later than we anticipated from a long road-trip from coastal Florida. Quickly placed a call to TVR just before closing on a Friday and were able to book the unit for the evening and the following day! The home was charmingly nostalgic on the outside. While maintaining the structural remnants of yesteryear, the interior of the unit was up to date with modern conveniences of today! Tybee Island is fairly calm during the winter months, so our stay was romantic & relaxed as well as unseasonably cool. If hustle and bustle is what you may prefer, book your stay during the months of Summer. This unit is a large home divided into 3 living units. Two one bedroom and a 3 bedroom. We booked the lower 1-bedroom facing the ocean. The second 1-bedroom was on 2nd story and faced away from the ocean, but had wonderful sunrises. I'm glad we had the lower level unit, as you could walk out the doors to sit in one of the many chairs on the porch, listen to the ocean (though not see it), and take it all in. The location was a very short walk to the beach (1 min if even) and the unit is on the far South end, so much of the traffic, and hustle is missed here. Still though the majority of shops, dining, and night-life are just a short 5 minute walk away. The house was just adorable and the location couldn't be beat. The view could have been just a bit better, but still not at all bad since we weren't sitting directly on the beach itself. The house was a little chilly inside even with the heat turned up, but it is an old structure and it was winter. But I was very happy when finding that the living room had 2 couches there to sit on rather than the 1 like a typical rental. This was so nice because we didn't have to scrunch onto one couch as we had in the other rentals during our road-trip.
I cannot wait to go back again, I would have no reservations about renting this unit again for our Valentine stay! Only complaint I have was Mother Nature not cooperating with us! -

My wife and I had an unforgettable week at Tybee Island. Sea View apartments Unit #2 was perfect for us and exactly what we were looking for. The people, the food, the weather, the island, and the experience was unforgettable. We will return to Tybee next year.

The Sea View apartments Unit #2 was very comfortable and clean. The architectural accents of this 1920's building were very charming. We loved sitting out on the porch in the rocking chairs at night enjoying the warm summer breeze and the sound of the waves. Fantastic location only a block from the beach! The staff of Tybee Vacation Rentals was also very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely visit again!

This is our second stay in Tybee using TVR. Theirs is a simple and convenient process for locating online a nice beach getaway. Tybee is beautiful, relaxing, and we enjoy visiting so much! This beach home was delightful to stay in for four days, close to everything in the south end and only a few steps to the beach. The only thing I would change is the length of my stay, maybe a week or even two next year!

My mother and I visited Savannah and Tybee Island in June, 2012. Since we had been in Savannah all week (spending an abundant amount of money), we wanted something very affordable for our brief two day stay on Tybee Island. This unit was absolutely perfect for our needs. It's so close to the beach, has a great patio area, and everything was very clean.
We were able to check in a little early and the ladies in the office were extremely helpful in accommodating our needs. We even received a phone call a few hours after we checked in to be sure that everything was what we expected and to see if we had any tourist questions. A personal phone call, great customer service!!
I would definitely recommend this unit to anyone looking for an affordable accommodation that is within walking distance to everything you need. Thank you Tybee Vacation Rentals for a great stay! -

This apartment was very cute and clean! The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the appliances and dishes you'll need.
It's a very short walk to the beach (~400 ft). The apartment is located at the more private end of the beach, so the beach was considerably less crowded than by the pier. Easy walk to a.J.'s and Stingrays!
I'll be staying here again! -

This was our third or fourth time staying in Sea View #2. It is ideal for my family. The new sofa's were very nice, and the kids enjoyed each having their own pull out bed. We love the location - so close to the beach, and the pier. One of my favorite things to do is to sit on the front porch with a cup of coffee in the morning while the kids are still sleeping. I wasn't able to do much of that this time though because it was so windy the weekend we were there. :-( I look forward to our next visit!

This rental was in a great location - just a short walk to the beach and close to the bike trail. The price was reasonable and I would consider returning. The bedroom carpet was in need of replacement, but it wasn't horrible.

We very much enjoyed the island and the location to the beach was great. The appartment had a lot of charm but I was very disheartened by the cleanliness of the bedroom. The carpet was nasty and the bedspread was stained and frayed. Many of the pillows and chair cushions were stained. This was not what we were shone in the pictures that were on line. So after we arrived my heart sank. Very unhappy that we paid more than what it was worth.

We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed the island and location of Sea View Apartments. We agree that the apartment has a lot of charm and it is a comfortable place to stay. We do our utmost to assure our properties are clean and ready for each of our guests. The Sea View location is one of our most popular locations and does have guests consistently coming and going which makes it difficult to sometimes get our upholstery/carpet cleaners in the property before the next guest arrives. It would never be our intent for a guest to arrive into a dirty property and I apologize that you were unhappy about the condition of that bedroom. A quick call to our office would have dispatched the cleaners so the issue could have been addressed immediately for you while you enjoyed the sun and the sand only moments away from your door. Our staff has addressed the issues so no future guests will have an issue. When you think about the great location so close to the beach and shops, a property located on the national register of historic places and it’s charming too, you have to agree it really is a steal for the price!

We usually stick to Florida but this time wanted to check out the eastern side of the coast. We picked Tybee island out of a friends suggestion.
Tvr was excellent.The place was right next to the beach and all in all was nice.
The only thing we were wanting more was restaurants.If you need some good restaurants you need to go to Savannah which is a 30 min drive (traffic was bad on memorial day). The food on the island was not to our taste.The much hyped Crabshack was a disaster. -
