1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in a great location! Located on the ground level of a historic Tybee building with ocean views from the shared furnished porch. Located just 4 houses back from the beach and within 2 blocks of restaurants, shops, nite life, and attractions like the Tybee Pier and Marine Science Center.
The apartment was partially updated in early 2010. The living area has a Queen sleeper sofa, a 32" Flat Screen TV with Satellite TV, DVD, and an iPod docking station with CD and Radio. We really enjoyed our visit and enjoyed staying at a historical home. We had all we needed except an ice maker but maintenance brought us plenty of ice for the visit and also gave us some great advice on places to eat and the best way to get around the island. He was very friendly and answered all our questions. The home is just a few steps from the beach and it was so nice to come home to after a trip around the island.

We drove down to Tybee to enjoy the beach and relax. The beach was fairly empty even with the great weather and warm ocean temperature. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. We especially loved the free laundry, outdoor showers and gorgeous views from the wrap around patio/balcony. Tybee is a very special place and we will definitely come back to this property again. Highly recommended!
I didn't give 5 stars because the pots and dishes weren't very good quality. It would have been nice if they stocked a few spices (even salt and pepper) and updated some of their bakeware. It was my birthday while we where there and we didn't get a chance to make a cake because a lot of the measuring cups/spoons were missing. -

Definitely a beach house. A bit rustic, but just what we needed after driving across the us from California. Location is excellent just steps to the beach and a short walk to restaurants and not far from Savannah by car. Would definitely stay again. Apartment needs a little TLC inside, but it served our purpose of relaxation. Dog friendly which is very important to us. Mozart found quite a few cats in the area, but none too aggressive. Picking up the keys late at night was a bit tricky, but we know where it is now for next time. Would definitely stay longer next time because the cleaning fee and pet fee make it a bit pricy for just 2 nights.

This is a cute apartment in a great location. Unfortunately, the mattress was ancient and extremely uncomfortable. In addition, there were tons of roaches (large and small).

Sea View is a super cute apartment and our guests all love the South End location close to restaurants, shopping and the beach. We will pass along your feedback about the mattress to the homeowner. As for the bugs, we do live in a tropical climate and even though our properties are on a monthly pest control program, there can be sightings of Palmetto bugs. We would have gladly sent someone over to correct this issue if we had known during your stay...it's why we're here.

Great One Bedroom in Excellent Location

We booked the Sea View apartment for the long Labor Day weekend. The apartment is in a great location only four houses from the beach and two blocks from downtown Tybee. Check-in was a breeze and the staff was very accommodating in that we were able to check in early. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything that we needed. The only issues we had were no Hdtv - which would have been nice, no cold water - for some reason hot water came out when the cold water was turned on, and the shower could have used some cleaning - some mold in the there. Other than those three minor issues the apartments were awesome. We'll definitely be back.

When we first drove up to Seaview we oohed and aahed and were never disappointed with the indoor or outdoor accommodations. The beds were very comfortable, the roomy shower was great, and the large rooms worked well for us. The laundry facility was a well used bonus. A friend and I brought our daughters to Tybee to celebrate their high school graduation. We had an amazing time! Seaview is just a few steps to the beautiful beach and we loved every minute!

Tybee ranks as one of my favorite places. Having a comfortable place to stay adds to the pleasure. The location was perfect-not even a block from the beach and a few blocks from the main drag!

We enjoyed this classic space near the beach. All the comforts of home here. Unfortunately the weather was not ideal but we loved sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs while it rained.

We have been to tybee several times, always staying on south beach. We have young children, 8 & 5, and also had our 13 year old dog with us. We really liked the style of the beach house and it's proxixmiry to the beach. It had all the amenities we needed. The size was good, and we had stayed in larger condos before, but opted for this one, because it allowed our dog, and it worked great. We loved the porch, and would totally stay in this house again. Also, as for service, we had some difficulty with getting the tv to work, and the staff was really helpful and quick to work that out for us, which made the little people in our life happy to have family movie night!

Loved having a full kitchen with dishes and pots. Location was great. Cleanliness, not so good. I hate hotels because they do not wash the bedspreads and barely clean the bathrooms. I felt that paying an extracleaning fee would rid my worry. I specifically asked if the bedspreads were washed after each quest and was advised yes. I took a bedspread just in case. After arrival, it seemed okay so I did not use my spread. The second day while I was making the bed, I saw a feces stain on the bed. There was also blood stains on the bedspread and on the throw pillow on the couch. That made the rest of the stay uncomfortable. There was dog hair in the freezer and when we got sand on the floor and I went to sweep it up, there were chips in the corner by the fridge. The fridge leaked. The oven was raised on a corner of it. I may consider booking with this company again. This just may have been a not so thorough housekeeper.

Love staying at this apartment/duplex. It has old charm with moderm amenities in a great location. Just enough for a family and within walking distance of the beach. The staff at Tybee Vacation Rentals is great as well!

The unit was very clean and comfortable. Could have slept at least 6 there.
Location (4 houses off the beach) was great!
Check-in was quick and easy and unit was easy to find.

Great location, very clean, all the fees add up though, and the automatic travel insurance that is charged is a hassle. You should be able to opt out when making your reservation. I've been to other beach rentals that had more up to date properties at the same price.

We have chosen this location more than once. We love Tybee Island and the South beach area. The beach is clean, large, and full of nature! We love renovated older and original beach homes and this one is perfect for two adults. Sea View is well appointed and decorated in a comfortable clean style. One can "step back in time" without missing all the comforts of home. Tybee Vacation Rentals has always been a kind and responsible company. Every vacation to this place managed by TVR makes you want to come back for more!

All in all the unit was great - however the parking is horrible and something should be done about it. I was afraid I was going to hit the house pulling out of the parking area.
