1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment in a great location! Located on the top-floor of a historic Tybee building with ocean views from the shared furnished porch. Located just 4 houses back from the beach and within 2 blocks of restaurants, shops, nite life, and attractions like the Tybee Pier and Marine Science Center.
The cozy apartment was partially updated in early 2010. The living area has a Queen sleeper sofa, a 32" Flat Screen TV with Satellite TV, DVD, and an iPod docking station with CD and Radio. Sea View means that you can see the ocean down the street from one corner of the common area porch. The building is in a nice location as far as the part of the beach that it is near and the center of town.
But beware of the $75 cleaning fee (even for 2 days) and $15/d adm. fee. These seem excessive, but if they are necessary then include them in the advertized price up front.Response from Tybee Vacation Rentals - 04/24/2013

Tybee Vacation Rentals was friendly and courteous from the moment I made the reservation to when I arrived. They provided continuous information about the place I reserved and the local community. My seaside apartment, was just quaint. Literally a stone throw away from the beach, I could not ask for a more ideal location. As I came during the winter months for a 1/2 marathon race, my location was just two blocks from the finish and three blocks from the start. The apartment was clean and ready. I look forward to doing this run in Tybee again and of course staying with Tybee Vacation Rentals. See you next year!

This cute little upper level apartment was absolutely perfect for our Labor Day weekend trip to Tybee. It offered absolutely everything we needed, with a wrap around view of the beach. We quickly realized upon arrival we even overpacked some things, as we didn't realize that the apartment was loaded with all the basics we could imagine. Then having such a short walk right down 18th street and stepping on to the beach made it a perfect place we were sad to leave. We will definitely be heading back! Thanks goes out to the entire staff, who was wonderful from check in to check out!

I would defiantly use this rental again. Very clean and comfortable. Nice porch with rocking chairs. Restaurants and beach just a short walk.

This was a very nice accommodation. We walked to the beach every morning to watch the sun come up. It was a very nice experience. Well worth the time and travel.

It was very clean,and the aC,ceiling fan combo was down right chilly. Our only issue was that the grill did not work. We did contact the rental agency, but the grill was never fixed. My husband thought the bed was too soft, but I was comfortable. Great location, close to everything. We would stay here again. I have told several people about this complex.

our stay was great...the place small, so only for a few people, but it was just my husband and I for our anniversary. We had a wonderful time in Tybee and glad to have stayed in this apartment.

Pros: Fantastic location, very clean, exactly as pictured on the internet. Nice large porch that caught the ocean breeze. Good selection of dishes and convenient plastic cups that we could take to the beach. Very good experience with the rental agency, including a nice welcome bag with household essentials and some Tybee "swag."
Cons: tiny shower (I'm 5'4 and barely had room to turn around), battered screens meant you couldn't open the windows unless you wanted to let the bugs in, horrible TV satellite setup meant the signal went in and out constantly (with no wind) and local channels were only available sporadically, and for some reason there was no broom in the entire condo -- so I had to "sweep" the sand with a mop. The hot water took an unreasonably long time to warm up, in both the shower and the kitchen sink (I wound up washing dishes in lukewarm water at best). And the air conditioning sounded like a jet engine every time it kicked on - although it worked fine.
General impressions: I'm not a particularly high maintenance traveler, but the little annoyances (listed above) of this place added up quickly. Nothing was broken per se, but many things were simply not up to the standards I've come to expect when renting places like this. However, in terms of value given the proximity to the beach and the pier, I would still recommend the rental to someone who wants a very basic rental within walking distance to the beach and Fannie's. -

We had a wonderful time on our long weekend stay at this rental! We love Tybee and are considering the area for a beach home we plan to purchase someday. We would definitely rent this property again. Conveniently located to everything we needed (beach, restaurants, shopping), we never even moved our car after checking in! Absolutely amazing vacation hideaway!

The home was great. Located just a few steps it seemed from the beach. Easy. Clean and comfortable with everything you need for 2 people. Close to bars and restaurants and a short walk to the back river beach as well. Really no big draw backs as I enjoyed my stay. Will stay again. Would be good for more than 2 but tight fit. Beautiful neighborhood. Perfect for a couple.

My fiance and I stayed at Sea View #4 the week before our wedding and everything was perfect. It was a great value, very close to the beach as well as close to restaurants and bars. The south part of the island is our favorite and we will definitely be back soon!

We had a great experience with Sea View apartments and Tybee Vacation Rentals. Everyone was always so helpful and nice when we called. The apartment was so close to everything and very clean. It was just perfect for what we needed. My family rented one of the others in the building and had a great experience as well. I would definitely return to this location and recommend to friends.

The location was nice, everything was great. Theres one thing that seemed to be an issue with the section of the house we stayed in. The main t.v. wouldnt play dvds. So we ended up without a t.v. for 2 days of our 4 day stay. Thats my only complaint.

We had a Great Time. Great Location
walking distance to the beach, resturants,
shopping and bars. But also quiet not in the mist of all the noise you find in some areas. The Ocean View from the large porch was Great
