Updated condo at the Beach and Racquet Club located just a few steps from the pool and Tybee's North beach. This unit has an apartment sized kitchen with all amenities including a full size dishwasher and is comfortably furnished with a beach house feel. The living room has a Queen sleeper sofa, 32in flat screen TV, and a cd player/radio. The furnished private balcony has a great view of the pool view and the bay where you will enjoy watching ships and shrimp boats pass by. The bedroom is furnished with a Queen bed and a 19in flat screen TV. Unit sleeps 4 comfortably. Handicap friendly (elevator, not ADA compliant).

This was our first stay at Tybee Island - we were checking it out for a possible longer stay next February. The rental co. was great - no problem - made it very easy to check in and out.
Loved the area hope to be back next year for a month. -

The condo complex was an inconvenience to only have one elevator and only located at the end of the complex (I was at the other end). I had to make numerous trips up two flights of stairs with luggage.
Also, my condo unit was located right next door to some type of generator room (this room inconveniently began to make a loud noise as I prepared to sleep each night).
The kitchen silverware was dirty and could not be used. The sliding screen door was broken and could not be used. Dvd player was broken and had to be replaced.
During my stay, construction workers took a full day to replace roof of pool cabana (banging with hammers/drills) right outside my unit (I realize that that construction was necessary and there was probably no other time to perform construction but still it was an inconvenience not to be able to sit on the balcony and relax/read).Response from Tybee Vacation Rentals - 10/31/2012

We appreciate your feedback and apologize that you were inconvenienced by the elevator location. Perhaps the layout of the property could have been better explained to you prior to arrival. We have the association that manages that condominium complex checking in to the noise you reported and have had our maintenance staff check into the sliding door issue. We made an attempt to contact all incoming guests about the construction noise via telephone and email.

The location was fabulous, featuring beautiful sunset views and the quiet peace the north side of tybee is good for. Bieng right on the beach was a tremendous advantage as well. Had a few detail troubles with paperwork, parking pass and the unit not bieng cleaned prior to our arrival, but the staff was very responsive in addressing this matter. Unit was a little smaller than I had expected, but its tasteful decor, comfort and coziness made it an easy choice to stay in an watch the sunset and boats.

Check in was easy and they were more than happy to accomodate us with extra towels. We loved the location and being able to see the Ocean and dolphins playing. The pool area was a nice break from the Ocean and well kept. The convenience to Savannah was wonderful. We loved site seeing in both Tybee and Savannah there was so much history. The only complaint was that WiFi access was disappointing and needs to be upgraded.

Condo a315 at Sbrc worked out great for our group's beach vacation. We had 2 adults and 3 kids (<2, 7, and my wife's 11 y/o sister). A315 worked well for us as there was room for my youngest in a pack n' play in our bedroom while the other two girls slept on the fold-out couch.
The condo wasn't overly large, but it worked out great for our needs. There was enough storage, everything worked well, and it was clean. The view off the balcony of the pool and water was great for the girls to be able to watch dolphins and the huge container ships from our room. The location of a315 was good in that it was on the beach and pool side of the building and next to the stairwell and laundry. On the downside it was at the far opposite end of the building from the elevator which made for plenty of trips up the stairs when unloading and loading the car when we arrived and left.
One of the reasons we chose a condo at Sbrc was because of the access to both a pool and the beach. the pool was quite nice and the kiddie pool was just what we needed for my youngest. The beach was just steps from the pool and was very quiet, the waves were small, and there were plenty of small shells and crabs all of which was great for our young girls. We did take a few trips to the south end of the island to access the bigger waves there.
We had a great experience with Tybee Vacation Rentals from setting up the rental, to check-in, and check-out. The entire process went smoothly. If we look at returning to Tybee for a future vacation we would again look to rent from TVR, and if it were just our family of 4 we would likely look to rent a315 at Sbrc again. -

It was a nicely decorated one bedroom condo but my favorite thing was the view of the ocean. There was a direct view of the boats and on a number of occasions we saw the dolphins playing not far from the beach!!

We were pleased with the condo but had to climb a flight of stairs to reach the elevator, this was very difficult. I had specifically asked about accessibility b/f we arrived and complained when we arrived.

We enjoyed our stay so much. We watched the boats and dolphins continuously from our balcony. Nice option for my son to use the pool or the beach. Bring your binoculars.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay and needed the getaway. The weather was very hot but the condo was nice. The water wasn't as clear as we would have liked it. Tybee has a lot to offer as well as Savannah.

We enjoyed the condo. Everything was very neat and clean. There was a wonderful view of the bay and it was just a short walk down to the beach. The only problem was we did not have sheets for the sofa bead and there weren't enough wash clothes for 4 adults (only 2) even though I had indicated there would be 4 adults staying there. The rental agency was very nice when I told them about this and said that I should have called them. I could have called for the linens but we just purchased some extra towels and wash cloths and improvised with blankets we brought instead of sheets for the sofa bed. All in all we had a wonderful stay on Tybee Island.
