This was a very nice place with a great layout. We had 2 couples and it worked well for watching TV, hanging out, eating. The unit was in great shape with nice furnishings and everything we needed in the kitchen. Not a great view but the location made up for that. Everywhere we went, it was a nice, easy walk.

This was the 1st time my family rented a place on Tybee and stayed there the whole time. We have family an hour away, so we use to just do day trips to the beach. But this time we decided to rent something. I believe I called every hotel and other rental on Tybee and Tybee Vacation Rentals were the best prices and the best customer service representatives that I spoke with. When I first called my customer service representative that I spoke with I told her our price range and our ideal location. She emailed several options and it was easy to make the decision on which rental was right for us. The location of our condo was great! It wasn't a far walk at all, and we only had to cross the road on The Strand Blvd to get to the ocean. I was glad we didn't have to cross Butler.

The condo was nice and in a good location. I didn't like the fact that we couldn't get in the condo till 4 and had to be out at 10 even tho we paid for those days we didn't really get to enjoy the days.

Check-in and check-out times are strictly observed so our staff has adequate time to prepare the accommodations for our guests satisfaction, but keep in mind the beach is open 24 hours so come early, enjoy the beach, shops or restaurants and be assured that once the property is ready you will be happy we took the time to get it right! Beds were a little hard but condo was overall nice and clean. Location was good. Garbage cans outside reaked and could probably use a good cleaning.

My husband, best friend, and the Best Man rented Idle a While 4a for our wedding weekend, and it turned out to be an excellent choice! We had no issues with check-in even though we arrived after-hours, and even received a phone call on our first full day of the weekend simply to find out if we had settled in, had any questions, or needed anything.
The rental is extremely close to the beach (you can hear the ocean on the front and back decks), and is only a block or two from the main strip of shops and restaurants (the ones with the "night-life" in particular).
Everything was very clean and ready for our stay--it was like walking into a second home as opposed to a hotel or an average rental.
We absolutely loved our stay, which is saying a lot since two of the four of us work in real estate and are highly critical by nature! The only two slightly negative comments I have are that we couldn't get the ceiling fans to work on the porch or in the living room, and the iron leaked rusty water which almost ruined my wedding dress...but what's a wedding without one snafu?
I can't wait to return to Tybee Island, and I will definitely consider Idle a While 4a again, and will not hesitate to use and recommend Tybee Vacation Rentals any time I'm on the island. -

Loved the condo...very clean, well equipped. Service was excellent (when needed)...wished TV was a little bigger in master bdrm. Great to have washer/dryer handy. Parking under garage awesome! Thought from original pic on Web that we were a bit closer to beach but still just a short walk.
