Ferrum, VAA beautiful spot, and an enjoyable experience.
Left on 05/13/2013 for a stay in April 2013
The unit we rented was immaculate. It was recently renovated and an excellent job was evident throughout. Only 2 less then satisfactory points should be noted: The cookware was poor and should be replaced, and the tennis courts badly need maintenance (wide cracks in multiple areas of the surface). Were it not for these 2 points, the entire rental experience would have rated 5 stars.

Kingsport, TNWe had a very pleasant stay at this condo overall and will likel
Left on 04/03/2013 for a stay in March 2013
We had a very pleasant experience overall with our stay at Lighthouse Point 29B. The condo was spacious, clean, and well decorated. There were some slight negatives. We were awakened on the first morning by construction work going on directly outside our condo, but the staircases and porches were being well maintained! The reservation, check-in, and check-out processes seemed to involve working with a lot of emails, printing information, downloading apps, etc. so it took some effort to deal with all of that. Sometimes the information was conflicting (for example, the checkout list of things to do posted on the refrigerator was slightly different from the list that was in the information packet). Also, at least at first, we began feeling like we were being treated like "trashy" people. The list of rules went on and on and there were numerous threats of fines for infractions. It became our joke of the stay ($50 for crossing your legs wrong, $50 for stepping on the grass, etc.). It took us a little extra time to relax and enjoy the condo and the beach, but we were eventually able to do that. The best thing about the condo and it's location were watching the ships coming and going in the Savannah River and the quiet neighborhood in which to walk. We also enjoyed the short walk to the Ft. Screven batteries and the lighthouse.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us on Tybee and thank you for your great feedback. We work very hard with our owners to keep our properties well maintained, and do occasionally have to make small repairs during a guest stay and apologize for any inconvenience. We are always looking to make our reservation process a smooth and informative experience for our guests. We’re also trying to go paperless as much of possible and take advantage of technology, but with any improvement guest feedback helps us keep getting better. The overwhelming majority of our guests are courteous vacationers looking to relax with family and friends. For the rare exception, our rules and policies ensure our properties’ owners are well-maintained, our guests’ stays are of the highest quality and we remain good neighbors to our fellow Tybee residents. Tybee is a small, quaint island and we love to have our guests feel like family.

Apopka, FLVisit was too short!
Left on 12/13/2012 for a stay in November 2012
The folks at TVR were so friendly and checking in was a breeze. Directions to the rental were perfect and the unit was fabulous...just like the pictures. I had struggled with the decision between hotel and condo rental and I definitely made the right choice. The condo was spotless and decorated so well...felt like "home"! The owners have clearly taken the time (and expense) to decorate the unit very well and eveything was in good working order. The view of the water was just what I wanted - not full oceanview but plenty to take in. The complex was neat and very quiet and very close to the light house. Visited Fort Pulaski and really enjoyed that. Ate at The Crab Shack there in Tybee and visited two Barbeque spots in Savannah (Wiley's and Pappa's) that were both excellent. Really enjoyed sitting on the porch and the end of the day with a drink and watching the ships-truly a relaxing time.
Would love to return for a longer visit. You won't be disapointed with Tybee Island Rentals or this unit - it was great! -

Atlanta, GANice Condo Right on the Beach
Left on 10/24/2012 for a stay in October 2012
This is a nice condo overall.
The owners have obviously maintained the interior very well. It is right on the beach, with a great view and lovely balcony.
The kitchen is spotless, and the bathrooms shine.
The exterior complex halls, however, do not quite live up to the same expectations. They do not set a good tone for the condo overall. The steps to the unit are very steep. The good news is that there is an elevator in the complex, but it is a little difficult to find unless someone points you in the right direction. And property management uses old grocery carts as luggage transports which detracts from the experience (very functional, but not flattering).
Pools are beautiful and extremely well maintained.
Very near lighthouses so lots to see and do.
Quiet. Gated. Good parking available. We felt very safe.
Overall, it was a very nice experience. But not quite as nice as the photographs lead me to believe. I would, however, stay there again with no reservations. It is worth the trip to see the beach right out of the open patio doors.
Tybee Vacation Rentals was very professional, well organized, and easy to find. Check in is a bit too late (4:00 p.m.), and check out is a bit too early (10:00 a.m.). Would have been more comfortable with a 2:00 p.m. check in and 11:00 a.m. check out.Response from Tybee Vacation Rentals - 10/24/2012

Thank you for the feedback about your experience. While we only manage a few condominiums at the complex, we can certainly provide the community association with your comments.

West GeorgiaQuiet and Relaxing Vacation Next to the atlantic
Left on 09/15/2012 for a stay in August 2012
The employees of TybeeVacation Rentals were very nice and friendly. Stayed at a wonderful condo complex next to the atlantic and a short walk to the Lighthouse. Lighthouse Point was clean, quiet and easy to access, a short walk through the dunes to the beach. Could watch the ocean and ships from the deck or go to the pool just outside the front door. Will plan a longer stay next time and will definitely take bikes or rent a golf cart.

Pittsburgh, PennsylvaniaWonderful time with friends and family!
Left on 09/03/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Check in/out was a breeze. Condo was perfect for catching up with family and enjoying the ocean, big ships, and dolphins. Beach was close, balcony had good view and when it got hot we could still enjoy the ocean from the living area. Spent every morning out on the balcony watching the sun rise. We walked to the Tybee Museum and Lighthouse, very much appreciated the elevator after that adventure. We never used the pool or grilling area but that was a nice option. We very much enjoyed out stay at Lighthouse Point and will stay there again when we come back to Tybee.

PIttsburgh, PAWonderful time!

The condo was wonderful! We came down to reconnect with family and friends, between the comfortable living area and the porch with hammock the visit was a huge success. After speaking with the lady at rental agency we rented bikes and beach stuff from people they suggested, which was delivered on first morning were were there - this made the trip down so much easier.
The beach in front was great for finding shells and calm water, watching the dolphins and ships going up the Savannah River was a highlight.
So glad this building had an elevator available (expecially after climbing up the Tybee Lighthouse), it made packing up in the rain (the only time it rained) so much easier. -

TNMuch needed vacation.
Left on 09/04/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Our family hadn't been a vacation in over 10 years and we were recommended Tybee Island. It was a great place to relax and the condo was very accommodating. We loved it...the only problem was getting hold of someone when we first came in on Sunday evening. We tried 3 different numbers and if it wouldn't have been for a competing company we wouldn't have known where to pick up our keys. Other than that a great experience.

My family really enjoyed our short stay at Lighthouse Point #29B. Just wish the elevator was closer and had a hose to wash off with when coming from the beach.

We enjoyed the condo. But a few exceptions: need nonstick cookware! The pans were very difficult to clean. Parking is atrocious...we had a friend joining us and had to park two deep under the condo. We had to change cars constantly depending on who needed out first. The beach was farther out than I thought it would be by the description on the phone. Inside phone cord is too short. The elevator was way at the other end of the condo...we were in 29B. Walking up two flights of stairs got old quickly.
