Huntington, IndianaFabulous beachfront Condo
Left on 03/03/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This Condo had it all! !! Right on the beach, lots of indoor seating for groups. Beds were very comfortable and rooms spaceful! Enough privacy for all. The condo is an upper so no noise problems. Great location to all of Tybee Island, and while right on the main route you do not hear the traffic, unless your windows are open. The views are fabulous! Upstairs in the King bed you can lay and watch the sun come up !Our only complaint would be not enough chairs on the deck for the four of us. Also, if you plan on being on the beach off season bring your own chairs. Ship watching is a must for the men and if you are lucky enough to be there when it's full moon there is no more awesomer sight then watching it come up over the water!!!

We had an excellent time in Tybee (Oct.21 -26). Our condo was perfect for the 5 adults that stayed there. Would definitely recommend this unit for the location, comfort and price. We didn't know about the island hopper until we got there and that was another plus!

We have stayed on Tybee several times, we just love it. We had an excellent stay this time. We had 8 in our group and were comfortable. However, they provided very little supplies for our stay we had to purchase more right away. Also no blankets on site. We will return to this rental again, the location is great.

We got great service at the rental place. The house was great, plenty of room and really cute. Only problem I had was where there had been dogs we got hair on us from the rug in the living room. Location was great! We liked how we could go to the beach in the morning and to Savannah in the evening loved it!

Our first visit to Tybee and we did enjoy the low country feel. Really enjoyed renting bikes. We road to a Js and had a great meal on the dock. The rental was nice but maybe alittle pricey for four nights. Sorry to say we sure didnt like the paying to park everywhere. Sorta had the feeling we were visiters, and maybe they would be glad when the summer season was over. All in all we enjoyed your beach!

Hopefully it won’t be your last visit to Tybee. It sounds like you figured out what we locals know: ride your bike! It really is the best way to see the island and it solves the paying to park issue. Ahh, dinner on the dock at AJ’s, what a treat and great sunset views, we’re glad you found it during your stay. Sorry to hear that you were made to feel unwelcome anywhere on the island as we pride ourselves on welcoming visitors all year long, not just in the summer. We hope you will return.

You can't get any closer to the beach that this property! Waking up to the sun rising over the ocean was amazing and a perfect beginning to each day. It was perfect for our extended family with two small children. We were able to run inside when we needed to and never have to leave the beach entirely. The home was very clean and comfortable for 7 people. It has a large kitchen - very chef friendly. We will definitely return to this property! In addition to all this, the staff was very friendly and a joy to speak with on the phone. We had a late check-in, but we were all taken care of and never missed a beat.

I have stayed in three different Tybee Lights Condos and although this Unit was beautifully furnished, it is certainly not child friendly. There are too many breakables! and I prefer ground level because of convenience. If you do not mind all the steps and are not traveling with young children, you will love this Condo. Unfortunately, this was not the best unit for my situation.

We really enjoyed our stay in Tybee 106B. The unit was immaculate and the master bedroom and attached bath with huge shower were wonderful. The kitchen was fully stocked and we loved the deep sink and countertops. It would have been nice to have a cabinet designated for our food, since all cabinets were full of dishes. The view was super, but it would really be nice to have a back entrance to access the beach directly. Also, a cover over the balcony would be nice. Our relatives stayed upstairs and complained that there were no locks on the bedroom & bathroom doors. Some of the living room furniture was not comfortable, but since we came for the beach, it wasn't too big of a deal. Check-in/out were quick and easy.

the smoke was intolerable when we arrived, (wildfires) but it rained that night and was better the rest of the week. the air conditioning was not working well at all and first thought it couldn't keep up with the heat (78 when we went to bed at night!) but when I called the office they immediately sent someone down and they fixed the problem. I was impressed with the response! Was afraid it was one of those "oh well, got your money, too bad for you" but not that at all! Would use this rental company again and loved Tybee Island.

Harrisonburg, VAThoroughly Pleased!
Left on 05/31/2011 for a stay in May 2011
This was my first experience renting a condo on the beach, and I was very nervous about getting a dud and having an expensive and unpleasant experience. On the contrary; I have to say that I was thoroughly pleased in every way. Check-in was quick and easy. The condo was beautiful and clean. It was exactly as pictured online. We had a minor problem with the toilet running constantly in the 1/2 bath. It didn't bother me at all, but I didn't want to waste water either. Despite telling the agency that it wasn't bothering me, they had a service man there within an hour on a Sunday to fix it! The service man was very pleasant too! In summary, Tybee Vacation Rentals rocks!!!
