I thought this was a great location for a parent with young children. Although the weather didn't allow us to spend much time on the beach, we were still able to enjoy the views of the large ships and dolphin activity from the comfort of our balcony as well as the master bedroom window. We will be returning again and hope to stay in this location again.
The heat does work.

Three of us spent four days in this condo. Mother nature threw us a curve ball, temps dropped into the 30's. First time in 25 years we had to turn the heat on in Tybee (and it worked no problems). The condo is older and needs alittle "lipstick". Everything functioned well even for its age. Access to the ocean was nicely kept and the pools on the property looked beautiful. We would stay on this property again. Read more
We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay despite the colder than usual temperatures on Tybee. Our guests comfort is important to us and we look forward to seeing you again when you can enjoy the great pools at Lighthouse Point.

We were thrilled with our condo for our recent weekend in September on Tybee Island. The north part of the island suited us perfectly with a more quiet atmosphere. The condo itself was in good condition and had everything we needed. The pools were in good condition as well. The walkway to the beach through the dunes was a bit long, but certainly worth it. We loved watching the container ships and shrimp boats going down the channel! We could actually see dolphins in the water from the beach! We have 3 children and the setting was absolutely loved by all of us. We can't wait to go back.

This was our 2nd stay at Lighthouse Point. Our first stay was on our Honeymoon November 2011. The place then/now was found very clean, adequately furnished. The desk clerks were extremely friendly and helpful.
Although furnishings and carpeting were dated, it didn't matter to us. The big attraction is the views. And the views from this condo are amazing. Ships appear to be right outside the balcony door as they move past. The view is panoramic with ocean, dunes, and beach plants making for beautiful, picturesque scenery without even venturing outside the condo.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you would need to cook. We cooked several meals and everything functioned well. The patio furniture was fine if you simply want to gaze at the view or relax with a good book. During the summer there is a gorgeous pool. The walk to the beach is just minutes away.
Lighthouse Point is located on the north side of the island, so if you want to be near the big pier or to the beach shops, restaurants and bars, this is not the place. However if you love serenity and peaceful beach walks, this is the perfect place. In my opinion, this stretch of beach is the most beautiful stretch on the island. It takes roughly an hour and a half to walk to the pier and shops from this stretch of beach --- and it is very easy to get carried away walking and find yourself 2 miles down the beach and facing a 2 mile walk back... just a word of caution. It has happened to us on at least two occasions.
The only complaint or suggestion I have about this particular condo is the heat/air thermostat. It is very difficult to figure out and it seems like the temperature settings either don't respond or they don't stay put. If you are arriving during mild weather, this may be a non issue, but in the heat of the summer or in cold winter weather, you may need to call for assistance in setting the thermostat.
The friendliest people I have ever rented from.

This condo was great! We enjoyed every minute of our week! We were not far from the beach, and I had a lot of practice with my new camera taking wonderful shots of the ships going by from the balcony! The condo was very clean and well maintained. The location was great as well.
We will be back! Tybee Vacation Rentals was so kind and helpful every step of the way!

We loved our condo. It was so cute, very clean, well organized, and had everything we needed for our stay. The beach was a nice walk down the boardwalk. The pool was very nice too. The view from the deck off both the living room and the bedroom was great. We can't wait to go back!
Tybee is beautiful and was a great place two weekends before St.

We stayed in #31B & our friends stayed in #14B, but either condo was updated more than our last year's stay. We love the convenience of being right on the beach, & the quiet side of the island. So much to explore, so many wonderful places to eat. If you like pizza, Huckapoo's is the place to have a fabulous pizza for an affordable price & the owners are from Kansas too! A.J.'s Dockside is wonderful to eat outside & experience the beautiful sunset.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay, the weather was perfect this time of year.

My family and I enjoyed our stay, we were a little further from the beach than we wanted. We took my elderly parents and it was a liitle bit of a walk to the beach. The unit was clean and well equiped.
