The condo itself inside was very nicely decorated but very tight. there were only a few windows and no view to anything. the hallway leading to the front door was very dark and dreary. we were mistakingly under the impression that the condo was very close to the beach which it wasn't and the beach was not a normal beach. it was right near the river and more river like than ocean like. The location of the condo was far away from anything and in a residential area. we knew it was supposed to be in a residential area but didn't expect it to be that far. Read more
The condo is very close to the beach, just 20 yards to the boardwalk, it just happens to be a quieter part of the beach. We do make sure to let each guest know that the North End of the island is where the Atlantic Ocean and the Savannah River meet and that it is the quiet residential end of the island. With a 3 mile long island, it's hard to be very far from anything but we do understand if you have not been here before, it is hard to know the lay of the land despite our explanation before hand. We do hope you'll come back now that you know exactly where you want to be!

I have always stayed on the south end of tybee, but will probably come back here from now on. loved the beach and the pool and it was very quite. I saw the dolphins every day and the sunsets were great
my unit was perfect for one to 2 people.
Fun had By all

This was a great experiance from beginning to end. Friendly people checked us in and the condo was clean and comfy. My Wife and kids had a blast by the pool and we were footsteps away from the beach. this will be a once a year stay.

Nice Place, but wrong end of beach

The place was nice and clean. It was roomy and comfortable. The north side of the island doesn't have the fun waves like the south side. The north side is blocked by Hilton Head, which absorbs the waves. There are fewer people at the north side, which could be good or bad, depending on what you're looking for. The place was great but I would only stay either toward the middle next time or on the south side of the island.
