We had a large group and the house had such spacious common areas that we were all accommodated such that we could all be together without feeling crampted. The lower appartment was a welcome retreat for the bachlors in the group to get away from the several children. For a couple of years we had been warned away from Tybee Island by the threat of jelly fish. We had 15 people in the water for hours every day and no stings. A happy experience. We'll be back
A fantastic week

Our extended family spent a great week on Tybee enjoying an old fashioned beach vacation. The main area was beautifully appointed yet comfortable. The "apartment" on the first floor is fairly spartan, but since we let the teenage boys stay down there it worked out well. The screened porch off the main level was our favorite feature of the house and is where we spent our evenings after dinner re-connecting and reminiscing. My wife and I also loved watching the sunrise form the upper balcony each morning. We would highly recommend Broadwater Villa to any large family.
Great experience right on the beach.

House is very roomy and well located right on the dunes. Fantastic screen porch with super view of the ocean. Only downer was the WiFi signal was very weak and unuseable.

I brought 13 17-18-year-olds to Savannah for their senior trip from april 22-27. We went to many of the amazing sights around the area, took tours, ate plenty of seafood, did service work--and came "home" each evening to this awesome house. There was plenty of room for the 13 students and 3 adults on the trip. We were so comfortable and my favorite place, the kitchen, was well equipped to prepare breakfast for the group every morning. I say the kitchen was my favorite spot--maybe challenged by the screened porch where I slept a couple of nights, just to listen to the sound of the waves. Perfect, perfect, perfect!

Excellent check in and departure set up, hassle free. Only problem was that we were "homeless on the Saturday when we left one property and couldn't check into the next one.
The house was superb, location excellent, 1 min from beach.Very spacious, clean and comfortable, upstairs bedroom fantastic with luxurious bathroom, perfect for the morning of my daughter's wedding as the bridesmaids and bride were all having hair done and getting dressed in it - 1 criticism, not enough towels.

My daughter wanted us to do a beach week for her 21st birthday with her cousin and 2 aunts. I think the first house we saw on the website was Broadwater Villa. We kept looking to see if there was 'anything else', and finally decided to book this as it was ouor first choice and was open. Wow - were we glad we did. The house is amazing, everything you could want in a beach house. 4 large, comfortable bedrooms- plus an apartment downstairs! My duaghter and I took the Master Suite with it's King bed and trundle beds. The view from our balcony when we opened the hurricane shutters was amazing. Even though it was cloudy and overcast when we got there - a sense of calm descneded on us all. Ahhh, we were in heaven. The large screened in deck off the living room was our favorite place to hang out, play games and catch up on our lives. The house is located about 3 blocks from the pier, and most days found us waking up and taking a walk on the beach (loved the shells, and the amount of conch shells was jaw-dropping)down to the pier and around the tip of the island. Stops at the pier and the shops and restaurants was within easy walking distance whenever any of us wanted to actually "do" something besides sit on the beach. In addition, you are right down the block from the IGa grocery store. The location of the house was perfect for us.
The house itself was amazing and had all the amenities of home. Washer and dryer, beach chairs and body boards were in the garage and were used and appreciated!
I already miss the peacefulness of the house and vacation. October is a perfect time to visit Tybee, the weather is still great, and there were no crowds at the shops or restaurants. I am already planning my next trip!
We love the place!

We have stayed here a number of times. We appreciate the upgrades, but feel there are a few more things that need to be addressed such as the ice maker and beverage refrigertor. It, however, certainly suits our needs and each time we have stayed it has been an enjoyable experience.

We rented this house with 3 other couples and had a great time. Broadwater Villa is in a great location. We loved how close the house was to the boardwalk/beach. It was also close enough to walk to the grocery store and several restaurants. The screened in porch was one of our favorite spots and we spent several hours sitting out there as a group, visiting.

I rented Broadwater Villa for a family celebration of my mother's 90th birthday. I loved the fact that we could stay at the beach but have Savannah at our fingertips. The house was absolutely wonderful, comfortable and spacious. My brother and I were there along with my mother, a close friend of hers from Florida and four young adults, ages 20-28. The house, Tybee Island and Savannah were a hit with everyone! It was a memorable stay and worth the long drive from Philadelphia.

We have rented Broadview Villa for from 2009 - 2011 as an annual trip with my sister, nieces and friends (8 ladies) to honor my sister, Dee Fugate, who died of pancreatic cancer in 1999. Broadview Villa is so very comfortable with the screened porch, ocean view, incredible master suite and furnished beautifully. We absolutely love this place!!
Capture the Tybee Experience....

Broadwater Villa is a comfortable home from which to experience Tybee's best beach area. The layout is nice for a larger group, with each of the four bedrooms having its own bathroom. It would be nice to have another bathroom accessible to the living room downstairs, but that is a minor inconvenience.
The waterfront location is spectacular-- trot over the boardwalk to the nicest (busiest) beach area on Tybee. The kitchen is adequate-- the gas grill was out of gas when we started to cook out, but, again, a minor inconvenience.
The screened-in porch area is a real bonus room, with lovely sitting areas and a dining room table. All-in--all, I'd definitely recommend this home to a family that wants to be near the prime beach area.

This house is in the perfect location!! And it is organized to be the absolute best vacation house. The sleeping spaces were large and comfortable, plenty of baths which was good with the teens. There were lots of spacious common areas all obviously designed for fun and entertainment. The large kitchen came in handy. The staff was available, even on the weekend. It was the best rental experience we've ever had and we tend to do this a lot.

We had a celebration for our Son's 40th Birthday & Thanksgiving vacation. What a wonderful family vacation home right off the beach.
When we raised the storm shutters on the 2nd floor and saw the view from the screened porch, it was breathtaking. When we went upstairs & raised those shutters, we found a unobstructed view of the ocean past the horizon. From the porch we had a 180 degree view of the coast.
We had dolphins just outside our bedroom window. Pelicans diving, catching fish, & swimming back & forth all day.
Just a about 30 minutes from Savanah, we were able to take advantage of the ghost tours, trolley rides, and fine dining the city had to offer.
We found a great little pizza hut just a couple blocks from the house. Great food with reasonable prices. A well stocked grocery store was about a block away.
Our 11 and 13 year old grandsons loved the beach. They spent alot of time hiking around the beach, it's safe and clean.
I would highly recommend this gem for a family vacation.

Stayed here for a family summer gathering at the beach. Lived in Savannah 30 years and now family is scattered from Virginia to Texas. We all enjoy returning and reconnecting every year or so. House was quite comfortable and spacious - 3 families with total of 3 children - 8,10 and 1 year. Excellent location -easy walk to beach. 12th street is a nice location - not too crowded. Furnishings were functional, beds comfortable. Very nice porch. House not "like new" but not so fancy one cannot relax and enjoy the location and view

We rented this home to entertain some customers for a barbeque. The house is very large with an incredible view and walkway to the sand just over the dunes. The motif/carpeting is a little dated but what an incredible venue for entertaining.
Highly Recommend this House

My entire family loved this home from the youngest(5) to the oldest (74) -- Perfect location for a family -- Plenty of room and amenities were top notch. Have tried to get rental every year since then but it's always booked well in advance of 6-8 months. Out of the 8 yrs we have been vacationing at Tybee this is absolutely one of the best homes we have had the joy to stay in!
