      Great weekend getaway!

Left on 12/13/2012 for a stay in October 2012

The unit was very well kept and comfortable. The view of the ocean from the large balcony was wonderful. Loved seeing the lights of the container ships lined up at night waiting to enter the port. Saw a small nurse shark close to shore, that was cool(realize of course they can be dangerous). Hope to stay there again next year!

Perfect for 4 friends getting together for a long weekend!

Left on 11/02/2012 for a stay in October 2012

The location was fantastic. Right on the beach but only 15 minutes to Savannah. Very quiet and the condo worked perfectly for four friends. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony, listening to the ocean and chillaxing.
I would recommend adding a screen door, a larger table and 2 more lounge chairs on the balcony.

      Great Tybee rental

Left on 10/31/2012 for a stay in October 2012

My wife, daughter, son-in-law and I rented this great unit mid-week [Tuesday thru Saturday] in October 2012 on what I discovered was a perfect place on Tybee Island near the lighthouse. The condo is in good shape, only 9 units, and right on the beach. Convenient parking is under the building for two cars. The balcony offered unobstructed views of ships, birds, dolphins, and miles of beach. We left the sliding glass doors open at night for a great breeze in very comfortable beds. With 3 bedrooms and 3 baths the four of us were not the least bit crowded. Fully equiped kitchen but lots of good restaurants nearby--we walked to Sundae Cafe for a suprisingly good meal. The rental agent was super to work with on details of the stay and they offered lots of suggestions on things to see and do. We drove to Savannah every day and did not consider it a chore. Can't wait to go back.

      Tybee Vacation

Left on 06/01/2012 for a stay in May 2012

the 4 pm check in is to late and the 10am checkout to early. The inspection of the unit was completed by 1:30, based on the documents in the rental, so don't understand why we had to wait till 4pm after driving all day..quess it's a way to spend money at local stores before you're let in. We also were assigned 2 parking places and someone had one filled. Bring your own soap, as the little bars left for use lasted 1 1/2 days. Unit had wonderful views!

      Best Location on Tybee

Left on 12/14/2011 for a stay in November 2011

The top corner unit, 303 Fort Screven villas, offers the best views - dolphins dancing right in front - without the overload of people in the area near the pier. Close enough to be able to walk to some of the restaurants but far enough to enjoy the serenity that Tybee can offer. Just wish for better lighting in the living room area and although there are 3 bedrooms/baths, seating on the balcony and the living room really work best for four people.

      Wonderful anniversary Trip

Left on 09/20/2011 for a stay in August 2011

My husband and I spent our 25th anniversary at the Fort Screven Villas #303
We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed watching the cargo ships coming in and out of port. The view from the deck is wonderful. I enjoyed sitting out there early in the morning and late in the evening. The beach area was not crowded and was very clean. The only disappointment we had was the fact that the unit did not contain a whirlpool tub in the master bath as was indicated on the unit description. But that did not keep us from having a great time on Tybee Island at Fort Screven Villas and we will definitely come back to Tybee Island.

      What a view!

Left on 08/31/2011 for a stay in August 2011

Great location with a beautiful view...
Three bedrooms, three baths handy to accomodate family and visitors for overnite stay. Kitchen could have had a few more amenities for those who like to cook- bottle opener, cheese grater, more than 4 wine glasses, and plastic bowls that were not cracked. It didn't stop us from turning out great meals however! Some of the WiFi was spotty reception at times , but overall we had a wonderful time. Tight radius for parking two vehicles...
Office was very solicitous upon arrival and called several times to make sure all was well.
Rentals should have some provisions for power outages--- eg candles, or flashlights... We were without power for about 4-5 hours

      Great vacation spot

Left on 07/07/2011 for a stay in June 2011

This was a great vacation. The condo was very nice, comfortable, good kitchen, comfy beds. Having 3 full bathrooms is definitely a plus with kids and beach gear. Some minor kitchen items were missing (e.g. corkscrew!). This building and nearby buildings were nice and quiet. The Wifi didn't work, but TVR had someone out to fix it quickly.

The beach was terrific, not crowded. The area is not as ritzy as Hilton Head, but there are grocery stores (Wilmington Island Kroger) and some very nice restaurants on Tybee (Social Club), and we enjoyed the lighthouse and museum. Easy access to Savannah in about 20 minutes.

We enjoyed our stay,we always do!!

Left on 06/27/2011 for a stay in June 2011

We were a little disappointed with the condo's cleanliness. It wasn't as clean as it usually is, we had to sweep the floor as soon as we got in (with a broken broom). The bathrooms were not as clean either. However we love Tybee and will be back.

      Wonderful Place To Stay!!

Left on 05/25/2011 for a stay in May 2011

The staff were so nice - I made last minute plans and they couldn't have been more helpful. The condo was so clean and spacious. The private balcony was amazing. We loved eating our breakfast, having afternoon wine and cheese and just enjoying the view. This area is quiet and the beach is not crowded at all. There is a great private walkway to the beach too. The only thing I think it lacks is a whirlpool bathtub. It says in the description on the website there is one but, not. But, it does have a really big shower in the master bath which is great!

      Very nice experience

Left on 07/16/2009 for a stay in June 2009

Our welcome at the realty office was warm and thourough. We were given a good description of the area and suggestions for things to see during our stay. It was stressed that we should notify them right away if we had any problems.(we didn't).
The property was better than we expected even though the internet pics and description were well done. We were very happy with the location, the unit, and the furnishings. The only problem that we had at all was the dishwasher seemed to be on the "blink" which didn't bother us at all since we hand wash our dishes. The unit was well maintained, clean, and comfortable.
The beach was very nice, clean, and well kept. We spent most of our time in downtown Savannah, walking along River Street, sightseeing, and taking in a play. The trolley tour was nice, the sunset dolphin tour was very nice, the riverboat trip was one thing that we wouldn't do again.
We would enjoy visiting again. If we do, we will definately contact Tybee Vacation Rentals.

      Great condo for a Family

Left on 12/02/2008 for a stay in August 2008

This was our third time to rent this condo and will not be the last. Everything about it is perfect for our multigenerational family.

The unit is very nicely furnished and is quite spacious. The elevator access is a big plus. Kitchen is well equipped. My only complaints would be that the carpet in the master was in need of cleaning and the table and chairs on the balcony terrace were of poor quality and not adequate if we all (six of us) wanted to be out there at the same time.

The location is fantastic. We wanted somewhere quiet and uncrowded. This unit fills the bill. The beach is never crowded and we have an unobstructed view from the balcony.

303 Fort Screven Villas is an ideal vacation spot. From the ocean front balcony one has panoramic views of the ocean as well as the large cargo ships heading to Savannah. The area around the villa is ideal for morning walks and the villa is within easy walking distance of nearby restaurants.
The villa is nicely and comfortably furnished and ideal whether for a week long stay or just a couple of days.
This is a freat place to stay.
