Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The condo has a great proximity to the ocean and that was what we enjoyed the most. My family and I felt nicely decorate but felt that the condo had too many furniture making it feel a bit cramp ...
Our family stays at Tybee very year for st pats day that way we get the best of both worlds the excitement of downtown during the big day and the laid back theme of Tybee afterwards. We also have children that we bring down as well so it's nice that they can go walk around the beach and we feel that they are safe even at such busy time for savannah. We grew up on Tybee and it is home to us even though we no longer live there can't say enough positive things about this condo as well very low key and wonderful all !!! It is grate part if the island !!

Beach area was pretty rough around the condos so we went to the lighthouse beach area and it was pretty good. Very good as far as the beach being wide open. The pools were great, but was not all that pleased with the rooms. We could not all sit in the living room at one time because it is pretty small maybe an 8x10 area. Read more
We are sorry you found the beach area to be rough at Lighthouse Point. This is a bayside beach which is quite popular with many guests. It sounds like you may have been a little happier staying either mid-island or on the southern end of Tybee Island. The North End is quite a bit calmer as far as wave activity but a smaller width to the beach. We are glad you enjoyed the beach close by near the Lighthouse, which is just around the corner, and offers that wide main oceanfront feel. One great feature of this location is you have two beach experiences available to you so close by. As for the room size, the condo is usually a good fit for families or couples and each one is individually furnished. We would love to welcome you back to a property with a little more living space for gathering and closer to the part of the beach you prefer.

The only thing we could have had was easier access. My wife has a bad hip. Stairs made it rough to get in and out of condo. Other than that we had marvelous time.
nice condo to stay in very roomy and clean. Love North beach ar

I was very pleased with the condo. The only negative thing is the king sized bed in the master was hard as a rock! Left with back pain. The owners really need to invest in a more comfortable mattress! We were treated very well by the staff and not charged a late fee when we misinterpreted the check out time on a Sunday. For that reason we will be back!
The condo was excellent! It states "sleeps 5" - but it can accomodate more (you need to get prior approval from owner/realty!). Beds: king + 2 twins + queen pull-out + twin pull-out + there was a new (sealed) inflatable matress with air pump. There are only 2 bathrooms, of course. It was super-equipped! Washer/drier/diswasher/refregirator/etc. are all new, big and efficient - this is important, too. All was perfect and "nothing else to wish for" - except that parking for 2nd car is not assigned/reserved, so "potentially" this "could" be an issue. However, if you keep one car on any "unassigned" spot - then your other car always has space (the "assigned" one).
The pristine Nothern Tybee beach is about 100-200 easy yards away (across the dunes: boardwalk, but no steps). I'd recommend beach wagon/cart that can go on sand - if you wish to carry a canopy/chairs/cooler/etc. (not a must, because you got just 2 min walking). Beach is not private of course, but there is no public access to this beach - so de-fact it is private! No beach facilities, very few people, beach patrol only drives by once or twice a day, no lifeguard - each of these features can be either good or bad, depends what kind of beach you look for.
Dolphins swim along the shore, small fishes jump off the water, a lot of seagulls and other birds. You won't get any of these at any public beach in the Southern part of Tybee.
Overall: best of our 6 visits!

This was our first family vacation. We really enjoyed our stay. It had everything you could think of except a couple of things. We couldn't find any salt and peppers shakers. My husband complained about the selection on the TV. I know you are not suppossed to spend your time on vacation watching TV, but at night and when it rains, you do. TVR has a list of the channels but apparently the owners of this condo dis not choose that channel line up. Also, the fridge takes over 24 hours to get cold so we did end up losing some of the meat we brought. I would advise to either shop there or keep your stuff in a cooler until the fridge gets cold. This was our first vacation so next time we will know exactly what to do. We will be back!! Read more
We are so happy your family chose to spend your first family vacation with Tybee Vacation Rentals. We keep extras of items like salt and pepper shakers in stock at our office and our staff would have been happy to take them over, or you could have come and picked them up, had you called our office. We try to ensure salt & pepper shakers are always present for a guests’ convenience. The condo should have come with at least the channels printed in our channel guide which we require all of our owners to provide for the exact reason you mention. Our staff is checking with the property owner on this issue and will have it corrected promptly. We will also have maintenance check on the fridge issue. It might be due to the amount of time housekeeping had it open for cleaning it prior to your arrival. We look forward to welcoming you back next time!

The condo was just perfect. My wife likes to cook, the kitchen was nice and every item we needed was at hand. We were just steps from the beach. The kids really loved completing the days at the pools on site. I would definitely stay here again!

It was expensive for what it was. The property had all the amenities but when I compare what I paid in Hilton Head to this Tybee Island rental, the Tybee Island rental was much more used for the price. I would go back however I would not have paid that much for this place. Everything else was great.

We took our grown kids, our two month old grand son and my husbands father and had a ball. The condo was wonderful and had plenty of room. You get to be close to all the historical places and get to walk on the beach too! We were so close that we could watch the ships coming in to the port which was fun.
We hope to go back again soon now that our grandson is big enough to walk on the beach!
