very nice condo, ocean view from balcony, clean and up to date, the only downside is all the steps you have to climb which was my oversight, but we still enjoyed our stay.
We will stay in 2B when we go back

The staff was friendly. The place was clean. We never heard our neighbors. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beach and shops are close. We also loved the gift bag.

We made our reservation in early June for the week of July 4th, so I was apprehensive about the few condos still available at that late date. Happily, Tybee Sands 2B far exceeded my expectations. It is a spacious, recently updated 2-bedroom condo with cheerful coastal decor. It is on the top floor, which is good for such a crowded area--assuming you don't mind two flights of stairs. Even though the condos are tightly packed on the south side of Tybee and the downtown area is only a couple of blocks away, we did not have any noise issues at all. The beach is only one-half block away and is not too crowded (especially at low tide, when it is surprisingly wide!) Our only issue was that the free WiFi was not password protected, so it was very slow because it was being used by a lot of other people in the immediate area. Also parking was tight. All in all a solid choice and a good vacation.
Quiet, Comfortable, and great location.

We came to Tybee to attend my son's wedding in Savannah. The condo had the perfect location close to the beach and easy walking distance to shop or grab a bite to eat. The bedrooms were much bigger than I expected. Upon arrival we noticed a couple small things needing maintenance. A quick call to the concierge and everthing was taken care of the next day.
Excellent Quite Time !!!

This condo was a great place to stay. Quite and kinda secluded toward the end of Tybee. Very nice and clean, everything you would expect. Within walking distance to pavillion and pier, and beach. Would recommend this condo to anyone. Only thing I would suggest is an up-dated coffee pot like a Mr. Coffee newer model for us heavy drinkers. Ha ha !!

Very nice unit - we had a great time. Unit was in nice condition, just a block from the beach, the little town was cute, and we were only a few minutes from Savannah.

We recently stayed at Tybee Sands for our annual family vacation. This rental was very nice, close to the beach and within walking distance to several eating establishments. This was our first trip to Tybee Island and we are ready to go back!

The service was excellent!! We even rec'd. a follow-up call, the day after arrival, regarding our stay. Check out was a breeze. The property was in a "quiet location" @ 17th Place; compared to one block over-"party lane" @ 17th Street. Rooms were a nice size, esp. the master bath. Only problem I recall was accessing the television; too many remotes and not enough instruction.
So Close to the Beach!

This was a great little two bedroom two bath condo less than 5 minutes walking away from the beach. Nicely stocked kitchen with plenty of room to spread out. Would love to return!
Great condo and location

I already did a review for y'all before we left. But we wanted to stay on Tybee instead of downtown for the night. the condo was fine,, but we prefer a place on the beach and we like Destin, St George Island and Seaside, so we wont likely return to tybee in the future. The beach was crowded and noisy and unclean. There was a lot of hair all over the floors in the bathrooms and of course a dead cockroach, but we understand the bug problems. We just did not enjoy Tybee, we enjoyed the fact that we were out of town instead of savannah for a change at a comparable rate for the night for a short stay. thank you for accomodating us.

This is a third floor apartment, so be prepared to climb the stairs. There's a nice outdoor area, but it's not private so if your neighbors are out smoking, etc., they are close enough for you to overhear conversations and of course smell their smoke. This was not really an issue for us, though. The place was very clean with the exception of a few little hard things I found on the floor- with my bare feet, of course. But overall, clean and well stocked. We really appreciate Tybee Vacation Rentals for being easy to work with- I called about the garage clearance and someone actually went out to measure and called me back that day to let me know how high the ceiling is- 7'6", I believe. Check in and out was a breeze and they provide little extras for you in your rental. Also, got a return customer discount which was nice. Easy walk to beach and stores, restaurants from this location, little bit of a beach view from your outdoor area. I was concerned that it may be noisy in that area, but it was very peaceful, and we did not hear the neighbors in their apartments, either.
In Love with Tybee
Great trip as usual

We use TVR every year to visit Tybee Island - often more than once. As usual, the place was clean and offered the necessities such as wifi and iPod dock, etc.
If I had to find one fault, it's that the towels provided were past their best and left a linty residue. (And, knowing TVR, we could have called in a complaint and they would have brought fresh towels right away! We were just too busy having fun to bother.)
Aside from that, it was a great trip with amazing access to the beach and local shops. And the staff is always wonderful!
Great place, close to the beach

The condo was clean and the location is fairly good. There is a very nice view from the porch. The kitchen was stocked well with equipment, but a little short of utensils. One problem, and a problem experienced by the next door unit, was that the refrigerator didn't work properly. Our refrigerator had a tendency to freeze things, sometimes on the top shelf, sometimes one the bottom shelf. Over 6 day stay we never got the temperature right. Our neighbor's refrigerator didn't keep things cool. The other issue (and this may be significant in high season) is that we had an person park illegally in our space. It appears that even though "towing" is threatened, the tow operator is over an hour away, and even though an hour away, after waiting 4 hours for the tow company, the car was finally driven away by the owner. I have heard from the management company this can be a problem and the police will not ticket as the car is parked on "private property." Based upon this experience I would not rent during the summer as I fear that parking would be an issue. We able to park when the violator was in our space only because other units were vacant, something you could not count on during the high season. The management company was aware of the problem we had on this day, and conceded that there was little there was nothing they could do, even after I informed them that I determined that it was a visitor to someone renting another one of their units. So while Tybee Island police actively enforce parking laws on public streets, the renters are subject to the whims of inconsiderate beach goers.
Great weekend at the beach!

Tybee Vacation Rentals was great to work with. They sent us all the info we needed ahead of time and checked in on us during the stay. The condo was well-furnished, close to the beach, and quiet. We were in town for a wedding and within walking distance to our other family members and were able to hang out in the condo during down time. Morning walks on the beach were a piece of cake since we were only two blocks away. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely rent with Tybee Vacation rentals again.

Very Nice Condo

This condo was very nice-especially in that both bedrooms had a queen bed, rather than one having 2 twins. Thus, this condo is perfect for more than 2 adult guests. It also has a good view-despite the large # of steps to climb. Only disadvantage is a couple blocks extra to walk to get to Tybrisa St., as opposed to condos on 17th St. Still, I would stay here again.

We rented Tybee Sands 2B for a week at the beach with our 2 grandchildren. It was even nicer than the pictures. Everything was in perfect working order and the unit was clean. It was 1/2 block to the beach. The beach was easy to get on even with our cart with everything in it. We were very impressed and would definitely rent the unit again.

House is located just a short walk from the beach. You do have to walk up alot of stairs but the view from the balcony is worth it. The house was real nice and enjoyed staying there instead of a hotel.

My family and I stayed at this property during the July 4th weekend and we weren't disappointed! This property was located just a few steps away from the beach making it easy to get back and forth for beach breaks. The island has an excellent fireworks display on the 4th and we were able to walk to the beach, find a seat and enjoy the show.
