What can I say? This house is a true gem! We stayed for my 40th birthday with a group of couples, family/friends. It's such a charming place!! Truly comfortable & we all felt at home. 5 bedrooms... plenty of places to either gather with everyone or be alone. The rooftop is fabulous with great sunset views, views of ships coming in, & the hottub. There's even room to play cornhole on the roof! We figured out how to play the TV/stereo on the roof speakers (although y'all could've provided more info on how to do those things). The porch swing bed is a wonderful place to relax! It's within walking distance to Huckapoos, a great little locals bar with good pizza. Tybee Vacation Rentals was wonderful to work with & even left a little care package including wine! It is on the quieter end of the island, but with the island being only 3 miles long, you're still not far from anything!! Sidenote: If you're going during St Pattys Day, like we did, the trolley runs all day long over to Savannah, and picks up at Huckapoos which is practically next door!

we wish that the hot tub was working.
We loved the big kitchen table which was great for our large group.
It was conviently located to most everything.
We loved watching The Polar Bear Plunge.

Everything about the house was great. It would be nice to have a few extra towels in the house for guest use. Second year in a row we have stayed here and we plan on being back next year.

My family and I went down to Tybee Island for my parent's 25th wedding anniversary and fell in love with the house, "Vintage Pearl". The house looks great online but amazing in person. It has everything you could possibly need to have a great vacation with family. The living room and kitchen floor plan allowed all of us to be in the same room but have our own space. The staircase is beautiful leading all the way to the rooftop where we watched one of the most breathtaking sunsets. If you get the chance... stay at the Vintage Pearl and make lots of memories.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Vintage Pearl. It was a great place to bring the extended family. The quite, private location was perfect for us. It was so much fun watching the dolphins swimming right off shore from the private beach. The house had large common living spaces which easily accommodates the recommended occupancy. It was a beach house with all of the modern upgrades.
This rental provided the setting for what will be many great family memories.

This was the perfect house for our family this year. The area by the Savannah River is beautiful. We love the big porch with the swinging bed.
A very good vacation home for a big family.

We stayed at the Vintage Pearl last week and had a really great experience. It started off with your super friendly staff! We could not believe how nice and accommodating everyone was. We have rented other houses in NC and have never been met with such hospitality and friendliness. The house overall was really gorgeous and everyone especially loved the rooftop. The kitchen was very well-equipped, the family room area extremely comfortable-all loved the couches! It was a very bright and cheery home, just perfect for a vacation! The bay was within very close walking distance and had a plethora of sea creatures (snails, oysters, crabs, etc.) that were fun to watch by children and adults alike! My whole family has decided that Tybee will be our new vacation spot, and although it is a few hours more to drive from our homes in Va, is well worth the trip!
very nice place! needs a little upgrade.

The pearl was a very nice home. The one problem I found & made a suggestion about was,I have a 75 YR old mother who is in very good shape. She hurt her leg one day & wasn't able to get into the shower. My suggestion was even though it isn't handicapped accessible (thats OK) I belive that maybe there could be hand rails placed around at least one tub & shower. I would stay in the home again. Great place.

We loved staying at Vintage Pearl. The walk to the river beach was only a few minutes away and the river beach is just like being on the ocean beach and of course we walked up to the ocean beach in a short time. We even found shark's teeth on the river beach!!The dolphins seem to put on a display just for us every afternoon. Vintage Pearl was a perfect house for a large family. A beautiful covered porch to catch the breeze. A nice large family room in which to relax and talk while we took turns cooking fresh seafood for dinner. The third floor room and then going out on the open deck was so nice and that is where the hot tub is. It was of course great to sit in the tub at night and look at the night sky which luckily did stay clear the whole week. We rode bikes on the trail and also were able to go on back streets and not the highway for nice bike rides. The only thing I would suggest for Vintage Pearl is having some sort of gate at the bottom of the stairs from the great room up to the second floor especially with a small child around!! We loved the neighborhood on Teresa Lane. It wasn't like your usual beach houses where you constantly have traffic and noise. The staff at Tybee Island Rentals could not have been nicer!!

This is a very nice home with short walk to the beach. We ate breakfast on the porch every morning and watched the dolphins and sun set in the evenings. Views from the rooftop were also quite nice. A very pleasant and relaxing time on Tybee.

Our experience began really well--easy to find the office and easiest check-in ever! Vintage Pearl is absolutely awesome-beautiful, homey, quiet. Four generations of our family met there--ages 2 mos. to 77 years--from Ohio, North Carolina and Alabama. We enjoyed the roof-top deck and hot tub all week, day and night. There were dolphins, birds, boats and even manatees to entertain us--lots of shells on the beach to collect, even on the river side. It was only a short drive to the public beach which was not crowded even in July. We enjoyed all the fun in downtown Savannah, the food--great restaurants even on the island--the lighthouse, the swings on the porch, can't think of anything bad to say. Can you tell we had a perfect vacation? Thank you so much!

The Vintage Pearl was an excellent choice! We stayed for 3 nights & loved every minute of it. It's located w/in a quiet community; this made it the relaxing, quiet getaway we were looking for. The beach was so close, within 2 minutes of stepping out of the carport, your feet were in the sand along the shoreline. The Pearl also has a relaxing hot tub located on the roof top, which offers a wonderful view of the ocean.
We have a large family (7 members), & this home had more than enough room for everyone; it was so inviting, we felt welcomed.
I would definitely recommend this property to everyone, who would love the convince of the beach without all the crowd & noise. The rental staff were very nice, they even called to make sure that our stay was going well & if we needed anything. They had us a nice start up bag that had a few necessities we would need during our stay (detergents, dryer sheets, little goodies, etc... Another stress-relief, if you just happened to have left something or need anything, Wal-Mart is w/in 10-15 minutes.
All in a Nut-Shell...We loved it & plan to stay again!

We had a great time at the Vintage Pearl! The hot tub on the roof was wonderful especially since the weather was a little chilly. It has a wonderful view of the water and houses on North Beach. I would defiantly stay here again.

I chose the Vintage Pearl because I wanted all of my Girls to be completely comfortable on this trip. We were celebrating my 40th birthday. Comfortable was an understatement. The Vintage Pearl was that she claimed to be. The house was great. There was plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked with kitchen tools. It was very clean and inviting.
We were so pleased with our choice in the Vintage Pearl. We did not want for anything! The Vintage Pearl is the perfect vacation house!

We used this property as a family gathering spot for Christmas. It was spacious, comfortable and ideal for a family reunion. All our family members loved the variety of activities with the beach and easy access to the Savannah area.
Loved this House

We rented this property through Tybee Vacation Rentals. They were WONDERFUL! We rented the property for the 2 nights before our wedding so that the family could all be together, and also, so that we could have a small gathering with closest friends and family after the wedding. The house was perfect for this. Everyone was extremely comfortable, and there was plenty of room. Our Guests were mostly on the large wrap around porch and in the huge, open living and kitchen area. The staff at Tybee Vacation Rentals even left us a bottle of Bubbly in the fridge upon our arival with a card of Congrats attached. Very special touches like that are almost unheard of anymore. The Staff at Tybee Rentals went above and beyond looking for just the right place to suit our needs and this was it. They even helped us find accomodations for our out of town wedding guests. A Great house, and a great group of people to work with if you are trying to find just the right place to stay while you're here visiting our great City.

This was our first extended family vacation with kids, grandparents, aunts, and friends. There was plenty of room and privacy for all and the accommodations were more than comfortable. So close to the beach that we were able to sit outside on Thanksgiving day and take a walk on the beach. The hot tub on the roof made and excellent place to enjoy coffee in the morning while watching the ships go in and out and wine in the evening gazing at the reflection of the moon on the water. Close enough to Savannah and area restaurants for entertainment.
Loved it can't wait to go back again with a group of friends.... One of the guests loved the design of the home and wants to model her retirement home after it.

The Vintage Pearl is a great place a little on the expensive side but worth it The top deck of the house over looking the ocean is great there is also a hot tub up top as well. There is also a wrap around porch great for hanging out with family and friends. I highly recommend the Vintage Pearl.

The accomodations were excellent! There was more than enough room for the 10 people who stayed. The best part of the house was the rooftop deck with the hot tub. We spent over half of our time up there watching the cargo ships travel through the shipping lanes as well as the dolphins and fishing boats. Hope we can rent it again soon!
