Beautiful, tranquil home in lush garden setting, 2 sleeping areas, garden bathroom, shower and sunken tub.

The house has its own completely private outdoor, volcanic rock and natural stonework saltwater plunge (3m x 4m) pool.

The house itself is a 'dream come true' renovation, created with love and appreciation for the beauty that is Bali. Filled with personal touches, every aspect of it reflects the craftsmanship of the local builders combined with the vision of the owner.

The Garden is a living masterpiece, ever evolving, surrounding a glorious lotus/lily/koi pond. Full grown coconut and bananas trees... even in the bath...room! Flowers, butterflies and birds abound.

The house comes with a manager, housekeeper and gardener.

Central to everything that Bali has to offer, yet far from the madding crowds, the house is in a lovely rice field village, which is also the centre for 'Young Artists' in Bali, and many other handicrafts. It is a comfortable 1.5 km stroll from central Ubud (one steep hill), a one hour drive from the airport, several beaches and the volcano in central Ubud. The rice fields themselves are car-free, although there is motorbike access, it is serene and filled with natural beauty, and much flora, fauna and wild-life. It is close to all the activities, yet in a unique and tranquil setting. Higher and towards the foothills of the volcano, still tropical but not as hot as the beach areas. This is the cultural centre of Bali, and besides the local artists there are several art galleries and museums, plus every evening there are traditional dance performances, besides local temple ceremonies, where visitors are always welcome. There are countless wonderful restaurants for all budgets, great night-life, yoga studios and access to every healing modality imaginable.

  This was our first trip to Bali and staying at the villa was everything as described and everything we hoped for. Evelyn and Ilhu were very helpful and very good about getting back to us with any questions.
  
  We arrived and had a ride arranged by Ilhu... we were met out front by Made who was great! He had great personality and character. We arrived to the villa and it was everything we hope for.
  
  Kitchen was great, has everything we needed... we cooked everyday. Groceries are q a bit of a walk away, Bin Tang store, but a quick scooter ride away.
  
  We took advantage of renting the scooter while we were there and it was great to have! But, if you have never been on a motor bike or scooter you might want to think twice... traffic in Bali can be pretty intense. We live in San Francisco and the driving in Bali was pretty gnarly.
  
  We loved the plunge pool! Best thing ever!!!
  
  Highly recommend Yellow Lily Cafe (or warang, i think that is the name)... Delicious vegetarian food!
  
  I can't say enough about our trip...this place is great!
