Talidadan is a luxurious 3-bedroom, 400 m2 home with an open dining-living pavilion, a 13-meter pool set in over a half-acre natural setting of rice fields, hills, and jungle, just 12 minutes north of the Ubud main road.
Complete with beautiful furnishings and artwork this home is both stunning and serene. Built 10 years ago with a traditional thatched roof with an open style pavilion it has been a gathering place for friends and family from across the world traveling to this cultural hub of Bali.

Talidandan is nestled in a cul-de-sac of rivers, hills jungles and rice fields with only one other home in partial view. Ubud, the cultural center of Bali is just 5K south. A 40 m driveway separates the property from the quiet village road. A new hotel with restaurant is across the street and out of site. Talidandan has walls on 3 sides; the parking area is partially covered.

We have stayed at Talidandan many times over the past few years and found it to be wonderful in all respects, from staff to beautiful setting. You can experience traditional Bali by walking down the village roads, past bathing streams, through villages and on rice patty trails. The main living quarters are very private and feature a wonderful large balcony where we had our morning coffee.
The other wonderful thing about the location is the ease to get into Ubud, the cultural center of Bali, on day trips to experience the music and dance of Bali. Most evenings we would go back into Ubud, a drive of only a few minutes, to eat at the many wonderful restaurants. After returning to Talidandan in the evening we would begin to turn the clock back and enjoy the nightly jungle sounds.
Many days we would just stay at the house all day, read and use the pool and just enjoy the setting.
We have had many memorable stays at Talidandan and will return again soon. -

Talidandan is an exceptional property amid the rice paddies above Ubud.
Stop at the grocery store on your way there because you won't want to leave
once you're there. Beautifully built and maintained, there was nothing to
complain of -- unless you're looking for traffic noise, loud discos, or
exhaust clogged air. Also, bring books to read. The staff are helpful but
not intrusive in the least. Massage at a reasonable price can be arranged
and will come to the house. Massage tables are by the pool. If you must go
into town much, you'll need to rent scooters, although taxis can be
arranged. Our week at Talidandan was the most relaxing we have had anywhere
in the world.
