Villa Air Terjun (Waterfall Villa) is a secluded and stylish retreat in the cool hills of central Bali, 20 km to the north of Ubud.

The villa consists of nine buildings with traditional alang-alang (thatch) roofs, set in 3000m² of tropical gardens over a hillside with wonderful views stretching to the volcanoes of western Bali.

The villa can accommodate 8-10 people in five spacious and independent villas, each with an iron four-poster bed and a Balinese garden bathroom.

Members of our friendly and discreet staff are present at the villa and at our guests' service around the clock. The team includes a talented chef who... prepares high quality Indonesian and international food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  Our last night in Ubud, out of four, was spent at Villa air Terjun, managed by Orchid Villa (which is a stone's throw away). A short 20 minute ride from central Ubud, it is serenity personified. An old world feel, replete with modern amenities, welcomes you as you enter through it's gates. An inviting jacuzzi and a pool in a breathtakingly landscaped tropical garden and a gushing waterfall, add to the romantic appeal of the place. There are fabulous vantage points throughout the multi-level property to enjoy the stunning mountain vistas. It is a luxurious getaway for discerning travellers, with the warmth and hospitality of a home-stay. As mentioned earlier, being managed by Orchid Villa gives you the luxury, and privilege, of dining at Orchid Villa, where the food and the company are beyond compare! And the service is par excellence - the staff are always incredibly helpful and ready to go the extra mile. If you appreciate the cultural flavours of a place, you will be stupefied by the gigantic, intricately carved wood screen which cordons off the kitchen from the dining area and the architecture, which is in the typical Balinese style. We stayed in the well-appointed honeymoon suite and were stunned by the enormity of the room and the bathroom. It affords incredible views of the mountains. The morning mist and the sounds of nature are welcome visitors here. It is truly a sanctuary to return to at the end of the day or to simply relax and rejuvenate! We'd go back to the duo in a heartbeat!!!
