Description

THE VILLA IS COMPOSED OF TWO BUILDINGS COMBINING 4 BEDROOMS, AN OUTDOOR LIVING AREA AS WELL AS A GYM AND A PAVILION FOR REST, CONTEMPLATION, MEDITATION OR YOGA. WE ARE ALSO VERY PROUD OF OUR BEAUTIFUL GARDENS.

Each bedroom has its unique style and furnishings Antiques, contemporary art and unique view. The master bedroom, located on the upper level of the property, is furnished with a queen size bed, a large walk-in closet and has a big jacuzzi tub in its garden bathroom. The sawah bedroom, also located on the upper level, is furnished with two single beds and a shower. The guest bedroom is situated at pool level. It is furnished with a dreamy four-poster bed complemented by striking artwork. Sliding glass doors face the valley. The suite has its own dressing room and a garden bathroom constructed of black terrazzo. All bedrooms feature air-conditioning as well as ceiling fans to keep the rooms pleasantly cool.

STUDY AND ADDITIONAL BEDROOM

The study offers an expansive view over the cathedral-like living room and serves as a media room with TV, DVD player, film and book library and quality sound system with speakers throughout the villa and garden. This room also doubles as an additional bedroom with a cozy and discreet massage area and a refreshing outdoor shower and indoor toilet on its private viewing terrace. A dining table could be set up here away from the heart of the villa for a quiet breakfast or tea.

LIVING AND DINING AREA

The elegant spacious pavilion is furnished with comfortable teak chairs and sofas, pendulous lanterns illuminate a large mahogany dining table. Together with the timber deck which overhangs the lush river valley, it is also a fantastic venue for yoga, parties, receptions and dinners.

Getting around

The best way to see the island is by car. Our manager is fluent in English and is a wonderful guide. We also provide a free roundtrip shuttle into Ubud daily.

Interaction with guest

We have a staff of eleven that includes a full time manager and two skilled cooks. Our aim is to please our guests and offer them great service and food. We are close enough to Ubud's cultural offerings as well as it's international restaurants and world class shopping but just the right distance from town to enjoy the peace and serenity that comes with living on the rice fields in the traditional village of Sebali. We are about a 45 minute glorious walk into Ubud along the famous Campuhan Ridge. We are close to the Elephant Safari Park and to rafting and cycling adventures.

We will look into your suggestion for wireless Bluetooth speaker in the living room. Regarding the whirlpool/jacuzzi we will remind guests that as an environmental consideration we don't keep it hot all the time but require 4 or 5 hours notice to bring up the temperature. Also, we have recently upgraded our wifi to a fiber optic. It gets better every year but we're still at the mercy of an unpredictable provider. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
