Description from the owner
Your relaxing stay in our Pacific Rim Cabin will be truly memorable and you will not want to leave. Our non-smoking, waterfront, cedar post & beam cabin sleeps four to six guests and is pet friendly.
Pacific Rim Cabin backs onto Spring Cove. When the tide is out the cove is perfect for exploring the tidal pools, watching the deer graze, or the eagles soar. At night you can hear the sea lions bark while you drift off to sleep.
Relax in our private six-person hot-tub located on our large lower deck overlooking the water. We are not part of a corporate chain of cabins or a busy resort so you don't have to share your hot tub...Read more

The cottage is comfy and fairly well outfitted (lots of cozy blankies). On the downside, it is situated in a city-style subdivision and offers no privacy. Some renos could help this - such as strategic trellises around the hot tub - but at the end of the day, wedging cottages so close to each other makes no sense for a getaway location.

I spent 2 nights here with my friends and had a blast! The cabin was spotless and had all the comforts of home :) The hottub is small but perfectly adequate and feels very private. It was also spotless. I will definitely be staying here again!

We had a great time at this self catering cabin, which was very clean and well presented, with modern kitchen equipment and a hot tub.
It is in a quiet peaceful location, overlooking trees and an inlet, and very close to a lovely walking route by the sea

We have had the most amazing time while at this wonderful playground in Ucluelet. My husband and I enjoyed the scenery, the weather, the people and the great local cuisine. We went surfing for the first time...enjoyed the cozy evening in this oh so comfortable cottage..enjoyed our morning coffee with the local friendly and adorable racoon and had the best sleeps ever in the tranquil environment. Whether someone is looking for a truly laid back vacation or a consent world of excitement this beautiful welcoming cottage has it all..after all it is in God's Country or shall we call it the home of the Master Painter. We will be back...

Very sweet home away from home. Well supplied Kitchen- I needed it- they had it there. Everything was well maintained and we found it warm and clean. The hot tub and BBQ were easy to use. The cabin is well built so you feel very safe from the stormy winds. We are already planning our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your cabin. It was an amazing time and we will always remember it. I found your cabin to be complete, with everything you would/could possible need. The only negative thing I could comment on is the kitchen sink and the hot tub. The kitchen sink had a bit of an "odd" odour to it. Perhaps a bit of draino or bleach may help. The hot tub was unusable. It was polluted so much with chemicals that we didn't dare go in. We have our own hot tub and with frequent use from friends and family, we find that cleaning it frequently avoids the cloudy water (which is very unappealing) and the strong chem odour. Other than that, it was perfect. Oh, I did notice that the playing cards were well loved so I bought another deck. Who knows, the well loved deck may have been good luck for someone.
Again excellent time had by all of us and perhaps we can visit again.
Thank you for having us.Response from Gary & Brenda Cooper - 10/07/2011

I am so glad you enjoyed your time at our cabin. Thank you for letting us know about the hot tub and sink. The hot tub is a favourite with our guests. We will look into what was done prior to your arrival & work to ensure it doesn't happen again.
Thanks again Joanne, we hope you`ll be back soon!
Cheers,
Brenda & Gary -

My wife, mother in law, Kira (Black lab cross) and I really enjoyed our stay in the 2-level 'cabin'. It offered all of the amenities we wanted and then some (the hot tub was a bonus to us).
The location was very easy to find, close to the beach - but away from any drive-by traffic. If it is peace and comfort with the occasional views of deers, racoons and other wildlife - this is it.
When we plan our trip this way again - this will be the first place we contact for availability.

Lovely, cozy cabin. Extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Tons of spare linen, towels etc.
Good selection of movies and books.
Could have used a dryer or some way to dry off our wet stuff after getting drenched in the rain!
On check-in, the management person, Andrea, seemed unaware of our reservation. She said "I didn't know you were coming" !?
Lovely to be so close to the beautiful ocean walks and beaches.
We were really happy to be able to take our dog and even found dog bowls for him in the cabin!
Thank you.
