Left on 04/29/2012 for a stay in April 2012
We had a wonderful cottage just across from the club house and next door to the shop. Despite the proximity to the club it was still quiet.
Location was perfect for our parents who cannot walk long distances.
Shop has a great selection of stuff and the food, drink and entertainment in the club house were great. Location meant hill walking, horse riding and just wandering round the lake and to Pooley Bridge were all options.
We considered the site to be safe meaning our 10 year old son could head out on his own to the play areas and round the site.
The house was exceptionally well appointed and made the stay even more special. Good views and an outside seating area all added to the experience.
Would certainly recommend Park Foot and Beckside cottage to anyone. -

A very good bungalow that offers lots of space. Ideally situated to visit all of the lakes. We travelled with an 18 month old who really enjoyed the playground. The photos do not do this property justice, as it faces onto a field with sheep which our son loved speaking with.
