We had a wonderful Christmas at Beckwwod the accomadation was first class and home from home. The veiws were wonderful and it was quite central to shops etc. The little things made all the difference on arrival like toilets rolls and soap in all bathrooms and toilets, dishwasher tablets. The kitchen had every thing we needed for baking over Christmas and the Christmas tree provided was beauitful. A place we would all return to and recomend.

One of the best equipped cottages we have visited.
Good enclosed garden, comfortable beds and plenty of space. -

We come to Beckwood every year with friends. It is total escapism. With the luxury of the house, to the beautiful surroundings. Perfect in every way!

The holiday home was well equiped and comfortable. Location was perfect for seeing the Lake district but private enough to be relaxing and quiet.Our granddaughter loved seeing the horses in the adjacent fields and had a riding lesson at the near by activity centre.
My husband and I hired a classic car for the day from Lakes and Dales Classic Car Hire and had a fabulous time made extra special by the gorgeous weather!! We loved Keswick and the wonderful scenery of the north Lakes.
Only a couple of moans: no stair gate ,would have liked some games and dvds especially if the weather had been bad. Also as we had such good weather there is no shade in the garden so an umbrella would have been useful.All of these one would not bring on holiday!
The best part of the house was the lovely kitchen area and the master bedroom. -

Just superb from start to finish. Warm, very comfortable and spacious cottage fitted out to the highest spec. Loads of room for a large family get-together with space to be alone or all around the dining table. Child friendly and so peaceful!
