A cosy one bedroomed cottage for two which provides a perfect place to retire after a long day out walking on the fells and exploring the Lake District.

Located on the western edge of Lake Ullswater at Grisedale Bridge, with views to Place Fell, Dovedale is a ground floor apartment in a Lakeland stone Victorian house which has been converted into 3 apartments. Close to Glenridding and Patterdale and with walking from the door to Place Fell and nearby Helvellyn this recently refurbished apartment is sure to appeal to those looking for a cosy place to retire to after a day on the fells.       Outstanding, Comfortable Property

      We had an excleent time at the cottage, we were greeted by the owner who made us feel very welcome and went the extra mile by providing us with a welcome pack of milk, bread and butter.

      The cottage was in excellent order and was very homely.

      This is sa very well positioned cottage. We were able to do some bird watching as we sat at our table by the bedroom widow. Beacause the cottage is halfway between Patterdale and Glenridding we only used the car twice during the week as most walks started from where we were. The facilities were excellent and the wood burning stove fun to use, it reminded us of our 1960s childhoods. We would highly recommend this cottage and intend to book it again. Best thing, he central position, worst thing, can't think of one.
