This three bedroomed Scandinavian lodge with wood burning stove is ideal for those cosy nights spent in, relaxing after a day of exploring the Lake District.
Duke's Meadow is situated midway between Keswick and Penrith and within a short drive of Lake Ullswater, the park has 30 Scandinavian pine clad lodges mostly utilised by the owners but with a small few being available as holiday accommodation. I recently stayed here with a group of friends (all teachers) who needed a quiet getaway. The log cabin itself is ideally situated 20 mins from Penrith and Keswick, it is also really close to Lake Ullswater which is well worth a visit! It is situated in a quiet area which is perfect for those who want a relaxing time. The log fire is perfect for an autumn evening and makes the cabin feel homely whilst you are there. Thankyou for a lovely holiday I will be back!

we were very pleased we picked this lodge. it was comfortable,had lovely scenery,and close to the places we wanted to visit. the welcome bottle of wine was lovely,and the sun shone for us.
