This delightful 2 bedroom cottage is attached to the owner's house. The cottage is well furnished and provides a ‘home from home' with a warm welcome from the owner and their family. Pottery Cottage is in the heart of the village of Skelton with post office, children's play area and pub within 100 yards.       Fantastic late getaway!

      Pottery Cottage was a lovely place to stay, either as a couple or a small family. My husband and I went with our two children on a last minute deal for the bank holiday weekend and we were so pleased with the area and the accommodation.

      The cottage was immaculate and the owners were really friendly and extremely helpful, they made suggestions on days out for us as family, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome and if we needed anything all we had to do was ask.

      The cottage was very homely and there were plenty of games and Dvds to keep the children entertained!

      Really great relaxing stay! We will definately go back!

      when we arrived at the cottage we were met by sandra and her husband who were really friendly, the cottage was very friendly and welcoming the village was very quiet and the local pub was really nice and the food was lovely, maybe it is worth changing the mattresses on the beds as they werent the most comfortable but overall we would stay there again in the future !!!

      Pottery cottage was lovely and comfortable, with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The cottage was well equipped and we were made to feel very welcome. There is a pub with good food about 10 steps away and the cottage is only a short drive from the heart of lakeland walking.

      The cottage is in beautiful surroundings and there is a garden patio with furniture so we could sit in the sunshine.

      I would recommend the cottage as it was lovely.
