Whitbarrow Kirkstone cottage is the perfect base from which to enjoy a very memorable holiday in the lake district. The cottage is situated in an ideal location with lesiure facilities including swimming pool, gym, bar and restaurant on site.
Situated in the foothills of Blencathra Fell, close to Greystoke, and only a ten minute drive to Keswick or Penrith. Hexhamperfect Lakes holiday for all the family!
Left on 09/23/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We spent a week at the property with family including 4 children aged 3-11. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable with great extras such as family games and books.
The holiday village is perfect when the inevitable rain comes, as it has a swimming pool, games room and restaurant which offers family discounts on some evenings. The location is great for Keswick and the fells.
Overall a very successful trip. We will be back!!
