Pictures just do not do this beautiful cottage justice. It is a warm solid house fully stocked kitchen for as much or little cooking you wanted to do. Bedrooms were well laid out with plenty of bathrooms for all. The lounge is huge and accommodated our party of 7 with 2 dogs perfectly. It is great how all bedroom & lounge windows are at the front so you can take advantaged of the stunning views. The slight disappointment there isn't a gated garden and when you have dogs that is essential, but we managed to get around that. Surrounding area is just breath taking and the local pub (The White Lion)which is a two minute walk away is warm & welcoming. We will rent again. Read more

We received excellent service. We had an initial problem with getting the heating to work but this was sorted out with help from Yvonne (the owner). otherwise the house was ideal - spacious and well-equipped. A cosy, clean and very well equipped property sat in a beautiful

It was my 30th birthday weekend so 10 of us including 2 babies (+ 2 dogs) stayed at deerhow. Everyone had a simply superb time and we definitely want to go back soon as we didnt manage to walk all the hills around us. Highly recommended. The only bugbear was having to buy firewood from local shops which was expensive. Everything was spot on :)
