This wing of a Victorian house is located in the Cumbrian town of Ulverston and can sleep two people. Bay View is a wing of a detached Victorian house in private grounds just a short walk from the centre of Ulverston on the edge of the Lake District National Park. The cottage sleeps two people and contains a double bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room with a gas fire. Outside the cottage is a patio area with outdoor furniture and off road parking for two cars.     All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
    Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

      Beautiful Cottage, great view and fantastic location

      This is a beautiful cottage, the view of the Bay and the John Barrow Monument is fantastic. Just a few minutes walk into Ulverston and perfectly located for exploring the lakes.

      Absolutely recommend this place, could not find 1 negative comment in the guest book and can see why.

      My partner and I spent a long weekend at Bay View earlier this year and we both absolutely loved it. The cottage is beautifully decorated, immaculate and its location very peaceful. I would definitely recommend Bay View to anybody that wants to visit the Lake District.

      Wonderful property and terrific views. Great attention to detail - the lights around the cupola looked very romantic at night! Ideal couples gettaway. Would love to return one day and would definitely recommend to others.

      We received a very warm welcome from the owner and were immediately impressed with the clean and modern facilities provided. I cannot think of anything that we could have needed that is not already in place. Walking back up the hill after an evening in town is the most difficulty we experienced - this shows how good it was.
