Description
Welcome to Hibiscus Cottage, a 2-bedroom self-catering contemporary style house that offers complete independence and privacy and a lovely terrace and garden. The house is just 2 minutes walk from the stunning curve of Unawatuna beach and its lovely restaurants, cafes and bars, and a 15 minute tuk-tuk ride to the World Heritage fort-city of Galle.
The well equipped house and kitchen offers modern comfort and facilities whilst the quiet location and private walled garden provide tranquility and privacy. The house is cool and light with ceiling fans and lots of natural ventilation. One bedroom has air-conditioning.
Bedrooms are en-suite and have teak beds with mosquito nets, high-quality mattresses and white bed linen. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, with oven and washing machine. There is a large open-plan living and dining area.
There is a Wi-fi connection in the living room. Ask about airport pick-up and drop.

“Really lovely house close to the beach.”

Response from the owner Thanks Colin - we are really grateful for this feedback and I can see you do appreciate that things in Sri Lanka aren't always as smooth as other places! Apologies for the kitchen being a bit under equipped we clearly hadn't been in to check properly since before Christmas and we have now done as you suggested and had a really good look at whats there and whats needed and sorted that out! Electric switches - its so annoying the way they do that here in both our houses its almost impossible to get any logical understanding of what switches what on, - stickers and a layout might be a good idea yes! This is great feedback - apprecate the time you have taken!
