We rented the Hidden Gem for a weekend in late October and were very pleased.
The house looked even nicer in person. Everything was in working order, the kitchen was stocked with anything you would need to prepare meals, etc.
We had more than enough space for 5 adults and 2 children.
Location was excellent for Round Barn & St. Julian wineries. Also a short walk (apx 3 blocks) into the small town where you could probably find anything you might need.
Tonya at aqua Vacation Rentals did a great job of responding to my messages, etc.
I highly recommend this cottage as well as the rental company.
We will use again.

After the summer rush with a chance to spend a few end of summer days on the beach and golfing, we stayed at Hidden Gem. This is our second visit and we really like the roomy size of Hidden Gem, the updated kitchen (stocked with everything), the private location, the Hot Tub, the fire pit and, for us, the bonus is that Hidden Gem is dog friendly. This time it was just the two of us, but this place is perfect for extended family. We will be back.

We really liked the house plus,the yard and modern Kitchen we had two families total of eight people it was great we are going to book Hidden Gem next summer as well,my Children are 22,20,they liked the Fire Pit,Lake Michigan Sunsets,walking distance to the stores,Coffee shop,Bakery

We had a last minute chance to get away to one of our favorite places in Michigan and have rented in this area over 15 years- it didn't look like we could find a space that would be comfortable for our family and our 2 house guests from France until we found the Hidden Gem. The Guest House made all the difference- with a seperate bed and bath close to the main house- so everyone felt comfortable, and we could be together- both outside in the yard playing, around the fire pit and in the screened room playing cards. We stayed in for all but 2 meals- so everything needed (except the food) for feeding a crew of 6. House was clean, a little far from the beach, but the extra space made it one of our favorites in this part of Michigan. Only feedback from the family was the air mattress was not comfortable- would be nice to maybe have a daybed with a trundle-could be used as a couch in the large 2nd bedroom- then easy bedding at night instead of the air mattress.

This is a great house right in the heart of Union Pier! Great location surrounded by trees on one side and friendly neighbors on the other.
The property managers paid great attention to detail making sure the house is equipped with everything that's needed for a vacation. They also were just a phone call away just in case you ran out of anything! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a vacation getaway in Union Pier!
