Evanston, ILWonderful vacation
Left on 08/29/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We loved this rental house. Everything was very clean! It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, games, & dvd's. We had plenty of room to spread out, even with two families there for several of the nights. We would love to return!

We loved this house. The home has a great floor plan, well-equipped kitchen, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Great amenities down to the abundance of towels. Close to the pool and clubhouse. Enjoyed the second family room, screened in porch and since we like to cook the grill made for easy outdoor cooking. We look forward to returning next summer.

Wanatah, INIt was a great family experience.
Left on 10/28/2009 for a stay in October 2009
Our family spent the weekend at the Light House and enjoyed our experience very much. The house had plenty of room for us all to spread out and space for us all to come together and enjoy each other's company. The kids were asking if we could do this again next year!

Chicago, ILevery thing you need to enjoy
Left on 07/27/2009 for a stay in July 2009
What a great house. Two families of four, comfortably enjoyed this house. The
layout is fabulous, the decor was easy, sea, beach comfort. The kitchen has all
you need from plates, pans, wine openers to coffee maker. If you have
children, this house has it all from bed, crib, playpen, to sand toys and board
games. Nice screened in porch, good grill, fireplace and laundry. And after a
long day at the beach . . . come back and jump into the community pool.
All good. Thanks RSVP Rentals, it was a great time! -

Chicago, ILGreat home
Left on 09/11/2008 for a stay in July 2008
Great home. Good location (about a mile from the beach). Nice swimming pool. Would recommend it for families. The only problem was that there was quite a temperature difference between the basement and the second floor. To get the second floor cool enough with the air conditioning the basement was downright freezing.

We are truly sorry for the discomfort the AC may have caused. Of course, since cool air falls and hot air rises, getting a proper balance can be difficult in a 3 story structure with single zone air conditioning system. Our suggestion would be to close most of the vents downstairs and on the middle level, and open all the vents and fans on the upper level and cool for that level. Unfortunately on hot sumer days, and that year was hot!, with vaulted ceilings when the roofs heat up it strains the ability of even the best multi zoned systems. We have not heard of this issue yet this summer.

Chicago, ILLight House review
Left on 09/10/2008 for a stay in August 2008
We enjoyed this house. Everything is brand new and well maintained. The pool in the complex is kept warm and was very nice. The beach is somewhat far. The issues that I had with the house were that 1) the walls were very thin and you could hear the toilet flush from every bathroom throughout the house; 2) There is no table on the screened in porch, so you couldn't eat outside; 3) the A/C made the basement freezing, but didn't really keep the second floor that cool.

See response above and the Owner put a dinning table and chairs out on the porch starting Fall of 2008.
