What better way to watch a winter storm than to sit in front of the big picture window with a glass of red wine and chocolate watching the waves swell to a crescendo and pound the sand. This was the perfect place for a sisters get away retreat. An easily accessible trail across the grassy dune leads to the beach to collect the many treasures that await a new home. It is a short walk to town or to the grocery for forgotten food basics. For those who love coffee, the best kept secret in Westport is Tinderbox Coffee Roasters. And for wine lovers the winery is just a short drive away. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen adequately equipped and the dining area table worked well as an art center with plenty of room to spread out our many art projects. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home away from home.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating to get us booked for one night at the very last minute with our fur-kids in tow. The unit was spacious, clean and bright. It make for the perfect overnight getaway and would definitely recommend the property to anyone with dogs. Quick, easy access to the beach is always their favorite!

We had to reschedule our weekend due to an emergency with my fishing buddy. The staff was very happy to reschedule us for another weekend on one day notice with no fee at all. Where do you find customer service like that? Thank you so much. We will be back.

We recently stayed in unit #531 and had a wonderful family time together. The unit is well laid out, the view is great, and overall a well stocked and pleasant place to stay. Our unit was pet friendly, and that makes things so much easier. The bedrooms were spacious, as the bathrooms, well laid out condo. We would defintely return.

Just what we wanted a beautiful place with a great expansive view of the ocean that can accommodate 4 people and 2 dogs, with a kitchen. Plus the pool, basketball, renting of bikes and movies and walking trails was great.

Thanks for taking the time to write a review and let us know what additional items would be helpful in the condo. Extra towels, toilet tissue, garbage bags, and soaps are provided in the unit but if you ever run out feel free to stop by the office for more or let us know and we'll bring some by. Speciality kitchen items like oyster knives and crab crackers have been included in many of our vacation condos by the owners of those condos. We hope to have these type of items in all the units for guests to enjoy shortly. Thanks for staying and we hope to see you again soon.

Great fun and location. Four of us checked in for New Years and had an excellent time. We especially loved the dunes walking trail and the view from our unit. Very clean, well stocked for all of our cooking needs. We will definately return soon!

The condo was much larger than we expected. Extremely nice place. The beach at Westport has changed since I was younger. Narrower, a bit rocky now and drops off instead of flat. For a larger beach just drive south towards Grayland and access there if you want miles of wide beach for dog play. Vacations by the Sea is by far the nicest place to stay in Westport. We will definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful month at Westport by the Sea, and would highly recommend it to anyone considering staying. The facilities were very clean and well managed. The entire staff were also very helpful when we had questions or concerns. Our only 'Whoa' was the time the hot tub was out of use.Most people I know depend on that for relaxing. Just call ahead and make sure it has been serviced or is in service:)

We're glad you and your family had a great time for the month you stayed with us. The property maintenance company tries to keep the outside amenities such as the pool and hottub in top condition but the hottub pump failed so the jets were out of commission for a few days while the replacement part was on order. Luckily the temperature was still a tension releasing 103 degrees even when the jets weren't working. Hope to see you again soon!

Don't belive the statment 'Easy beach access', it is only true if you can climb up and down a 6 to 10 foot cliff, which my wife is not able to do. we had to walk about 1/4 mile down thought the sea grass coverd dunes to get to a point we could acctually get on the beach. so night walks on the beach were out! Other than that the room was clean and well stocked, we saw a great play from the driftwood players.

We're sorry that you had trouble getting down to the beach. During the Winter Season, the high surf makes our nearest beach access point steeper than normal. We do always recommend that those who may have trouble enjoy the sunsets and beach views from the concrete beach path that extends from our property to the Jetty. During the summer, this is not a problem (the slope down the dunes becomes more gradual). However, the beach is the domain of mother nature and is constantly changing. Other than this issue, we hope that you enjoyed your stay in our beach home, and if there is anything more that we could do for you, please let us know. Thank you for staying with us.
