Norwich, UKIdyllic lakeside cabin in rural Sweden
Left on 08/10/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We swam in the lake every day (in July), went for walks in the woods, and were very comfortable in this little cabin.
The situation is quite remote, but the university town of Uppsala is about an hour's drive away if you want some culture. It is also a good place from which to explore parts of the Upplandsleden long distance trail. Possible downside are the mosquitoes, a bit of a problem in the Swedish summer.Response from Max - 08/15/2012

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our dear guests for your pleasant visit and wish to see you again next year. Uppsala 30min drive.
We agree that the mosquitoes have been a minor problem this year when it rained a lot this summer, usually this is not something you pay attention to at this lake in Uppland.
