This 2,323 square floor condo offers great views of Mt Superior from the living room windows and the deck off the dining room. The living areas, including the kitchen, dining room, living room and den are all located on the main floor which is the entry level of the condo. The kitchen is well appointed and has a bar with four stools. It opens into the dining area with doors out to a small balcony with great views. The living room is very comfortable and has a wood burning fireplace for cozy evenings after skiing or hiking. The check in was easy and the condo was clean and well furnished with good technology in wi-fi, 3 flat screen tv's, blu-ray player, surround sound, with a hot tub in the bottom floor. We all had separate bathrooms, a nicely furnished kitchen. The parking and garage for our suburban was just right. Nicely managed condo.

Village at Sugarplum Unit 3 is a great house, comfortable for 4-6. The hot tub stands out as excellent in its own room with big windows that you can open; the pool table was also a plus. The alta shuttle is very convenient, about 30 feet from the door, coming frequently (every 15 minutes but it's better to just call it ahead of time) and very fast (less than 5 minutes) to get to the Wildcat alta base. Downsides were: the ski/in out is not perfect, and is actually a short (2 minute) walk; very expensive as compared to places in Salt Lake City; slow/inconsistent satellite internet. Overall, however, it is an excellent vacation house with excellent amenities and access to two of the best ski resorts (for experts) in the world.

It was great to have you stay with us and we look forward to seeing you again sometime! You are right - the prices in Little Cottonwood Canyon are higher than in Salt Lake City - and that is because you are right at the resorts. There are only about 50 condos avialable in the Alta Snowbird area - so staying right there is a wonderful vactiaon option. No long lines up and down the canyon in traffic and you get to enjoy the mountain setting during your stay.
Just a note - both Alta and Snowbird have plenty of intermediate and beginner terrain - but you are so right that for expert skiiers there is lots of ground to cover! -

This is the second time we stayed in the same condo at the Village at Sugarplum. It's a very homey-feeling condo, with lots of space to be together with friends, or be alone away from the crowds. The three br/4bathroom condo fit the needs of the 7 of us staying in the condo - without getting on each other's nerves. All the amenities of your home (especially the well equipped kitchen), wonderful helpful staff (who helped us dig out of our condo and dig our car out of the snow on more than one occasion) who were there to help with the smallest request. We had a bar-b-que grill last time, that wasn't there this time - it would have been nice to have. Nevertheless, the next time we come back to Snowbird, we'll rent the same condo again!

Sindy - we are so glad you had a good time. Sorry the grill wa gone - we have a BBQ on the property that can be rented for a small fee. The owners of the condos are trying not to keep BBQ's anymore due to the high fire danger. Just let us know when you return and we will get you a grill!
