Cabins in the Clouds is centrally located to many great places of interest. It is one hour to Newcastle, the thriving heart of the Hunter. It is one hour to the wine country, one hour to Singleton, one hour to the foot of the Barrington Tops, and even less to historic towns like Paterson, Gresford, Dungog, Maitland and Morpeth.
In the town of Vacy, you will find warm country hospitality at the quaint General Store & Post Office, the Farmers Hotel and The Flying Duck cafe. The countryside is picturesque, quintessentially country Australia.
You can easily get to Cabins in the Clouds by car. It is just over 2 hours from the start of the F3 at Hornsby. Or you can fly in to Newcastle Airport and hire a car. It will take about 50 minutes to reach your destination. There are also trains from Sydney to the towns of Maitland & Dungog.
