We spent a long weekend in a two bedroom unit and it was really nicely decorated and comfortable for our family of four! Neat to see the gondola and Vail Mountain from the living room! One of the nights we stayed we heard water from the upstairs unit and called the emergency number of Vail Management Company and it was fixed within 30 minutes of my call (toilet was running in unit above), so I was impressed with the prompt service!!! We did arrive late at night and for some reason the phone outside didn't work, but I was able to use my cell number to call the late check in number to get the combination to the unit.

All you look for in a Vail 2-bedroom condo.
Only caveats--1) it has a large walk-in closet rather than a master bath and 2) the parking sticker says parking expires at noon the day of check out though the management let us park until 3 pm in the parking lot in front of the building.Response from Vail Management Company - 03/21/2013

Thank you for your positive review. A little clarification though: this condo has a FULL bathroom in each bedroom. The reviewer probably meant that the master bathroom could have been bigger.

Location is great. Short walk to Gondola, restaurants, and bus stop. I hadn't been to Lionshead since all the renovations, and it is great. Don Watson in the arrabel Tavern bar instead of the Sonnenalp was a surprise, and good as always.
Staff at Westwind very helpful and courteous. Our unit, 104, was obviously redone. The only issue was the people's kids upstairs stomping the floors for some unknown reason. Other than that it was quiet most of the time. Tip for when the gondola is crowded is to take the quad up to midmountain and traverse over to the 2 chair; it better than standing in line. -

we stayed in unit # 204, not #104. We had stayed here before (in 2008) and had a similarly wonderful experience. The only negative comment was the failure to leave clean dish towels when the dirty ones were removed. Overall, everthing was excellent.

We will stay here again someday. We were referred to this unit by a friend and it's very well done. Perfect for a family get-away in Vail!

The office staff was incredible. Our accommodations were well beyond what we had expected. The location was perfect. We liked being on the first floor, for easy access to everything. The kids loved the pool. I did have a tiny bit of trouble finding the laundry facility. We loved the home. Thanks.
