What Past Guests Are Saying

Morrison Family
Brisbane, AustraliaVery happy guests.
Left on 03/13/2013 for a stay in February 2013
This is a great condo directly across the rd from the base at Golden Peak and a few mins walk into Vail village.
The beds are extremely comfortable, the kitchen the best equipped of any we have ever stayed in, and the living area spacious for a 2 bed unit.
The instant gas fire lacks the smell of woodsmoke, but its convenience is wonderful! The daily servicing was excellent and the few maintenance issues, like blown bulbs, were fixed immediately. I would have preferred a washer in the unit, but the communal laundry was clean and efficient.
The living area has a view of the mountain, and we watched some of the Burton us open from the couch!
A bit more local information in the unit would have been a nice touch, eg restaurant recommendations, location of the supermarket, bus timetables.
One criticism, not of the unit, but of Vail village, is that there is nowhere to buy groceries except the supermarkets at West Vail, a 15 min bus ride from the transportation centre.
Christiania management was great and responded immediately to every request. We would happily stay again either in all Seasons a2 or another Christiania property.
Vail has some of the best restaurants we have ever found at an american ski resort. We highly recommend Sweet Basil, Kelly Liken and Terra Bistro. -

Grand Junction, Colorado (formerly Vail, Colorado)Thanks to Gabriella and amy!

Ironically, I was going to write a personal note today to say Thank you to the Christiania, and particularly to amy and Gabriella. They were exceptionally professional ~ and very caring ~ in meeting the needs of our family for what turned ut to be a great ski vacation. Their help in recommending the rentals that were a possibility for us ~ saved me sooo much time in researching and calling different places! But most notable was their desire to put us in the place that would work best for us ~ and all Seasons a2 was it! The condo was wonderfully intimate and warm in its decor and design, and of course its location right across from Gold Peak was the greatest amenity possible. My granddaughter and I also used the Christiania's hot pool and sauna ~ and the check-in/check-out was effortless ~ Thank you also to the nice lady who allowed us a Noon check-out on our final day, with the next occupant not arriving till 8:00 p.m. that night. Thank you again! ~ I am definitely keeping your phone number and contact information. As former Vail residents (Hi to Paul and Sally Johnston!), we are in the Vail area often. Your caring attention to detail is a rarity these days, and we will be back! A very Happy New Year to all! Carol acuff (and Jack, Colm & Brynne acuff)

Could be happier renter
Naperville, IllinoisGood, but could be better!
Left on 03/02/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We liked the place, but were very disappointed that we had no internet. We had brought 2 computers (laptops) with us, and there was no internet. We were pretty surprised and annoyed as well. Even cheap hotels have internet service for us! For $700 per day, we should be given Internet!!! Please let the homewoners know that not getting this service is a dealbreaker for us. I had no idea that this would even be a problem, thus did not think to ask about it. The renters need to get into the 21st century and provide this service to their customers if they want repeat customers! The fireplace did not work - nor the t.v. in the kids' bedrooms. It was also very cold in their room. We could not get it warm. The humidifier did not work as well. We put it on with water because the condo was very dry and static - but there was a part that was broken off inside. The motor ran but no mist was produced. We feel that these things that did not work or not provided, are important to making a Vail stay more pleasant. The master bedroom lamps were loose and felt like they were going to fall apart whenever I turned them on - but that was the least of the issues. If all these problems were fixed that I mentioned, I would come back to this condo. But if not, I will look elsewhere for next year!!!
I would only recommend this condo if those areas I mentioned were addressed; otherwise, no.
