Chateau Christian 2 Bedroom Condominium with Mountain View. King, 2 Queens, Balcony, Living Room w/ Sofa Bed, Dining Area Kitchen, Wood Fireplace, 3 Baths with 1 Jacuzzi Bathtub. 3 TV's DVD/VCR. - 1200 sq ft.The Chateau Christian is a wing of privately owned condominiums, attached to the Christiania Lodge. Most of the units have balconies overlooking our pool. The Chateau Christian units are two bedrooms, three bath condominiums that all have full kitchens, fireplaces and offer the amenities of the Christiania Lodge.

Great location, great views, comfy beds with lots of room for little kids to run around. We enjoyed the small, European-boutique feel of the Christiania. We loved walking down in our slippers to the ski valet room, with our dry, warm boots waiting for us. Loved Sarah's bar and Helmut Fricker. Great service and very friendly staff. Room for improvement: the unit we stayed in (#320) could stand a little upgrading. Not all the stove burners worked properly and they could do better with the basics like a working toaster and microwave. Other than that, you can't beat the location to the lifts and to town.

Our condo was convenient to all the summertime action in Vail. The desk staff was welcoming and the ambiance was warm and comfortable. We enjoyed a view from our deck of the pool and gorgeous landscaping/flowers. The room decor was 10-15 years outdated, but the rooms were large, very clean and well maintained, and we found everything we needed in the kitchen and baths.

The location is situated very close to a liftstation (ski-in ski-out), next to the shops and restaurants. This is a quiet spot, much better than condos we had the years before. The building itself and the appartments are very nice but "not the newest". We have been staying there in winter 2010 and again in February 2011.
