No surprises here. The condo was exactly as described. Other than lunch on the slopes and a trip to Sweet Basils for dinner, we cooked our meals in the condo. This one is well stocked with everything you will need. Shows definite pride of ownership. Joyce was a pleasure to deal with. Answered all our questions in a very timely fashion. If we ever ski in Vail again, this is where we will stay.

Austin, TexasGreat Vail Escape!
Left on 03/28/2013 for a stay in March 2013
This beautiful Vail rental was one of the nicest rentals we have stayed in! We felt comfortable the moment we entered the unit. All of the rooms, furniture, dishes, appliances, etc were very clean and up to date. Joyce, the owner, was amazing! She communicated with us frequently from the first day I inquired about the property, remained in touch with us prior to our arrival date and provided great local tips and recommendations. This was not expected but greatly appreciated. (Most owners do not provide this level of service!) Joyce also made sure our check-in was smooth and that we had no issues or questions throughout the stay. She was great and I only wish she had more rental properties for us to rent! The unit provides storage for skis but we found storing them closer to the lifts within Lionshead Village to be a better option. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone.

Orange, CTGood deal, great location and responsible owner
Left on 01/05/2013 for a stay in December 2012
We spent 6 nights/5 days at the apartment from 12/28/12 to 1/3/13. As a location and with respect to a balance between skiing and town charm, Vail is comparable to Whistler and better than anything we visited in Utah (Park City, Alta, Salt lake City) and Vermont (Stowe, Killington, Sugarbush). The apartment is very comfortable and ultraclean, even by the impossibly exacting standards of my wife. It is fully equipped, down to the last kitchen utensile. It is located within a ten-minute walk from the Gondola at Lionshead and a two-minute walk from the Vail shuttle bus. The apartment overlooks the hot tub and pool, but it never got too noisy or disturbingly so, since they close at 9:00 pm. The owner, Joyce, was very helpful with suggestions. The only minor drawback, if you do not have a car, is that you need to take two buses to the closest decent supermarket 3-mi away (the Vail convenience store is an overpriced joke), if you plan on doing some decent cooking. However, the Vail free transportation system is super! Overall, we were very pleased with the experience and plan on doing it again.

Brooklyn New YorkGreat Place -- Great Value in Vail Village
Left on 09/04/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Great condo, beautifully furnished. And super clean!!! Everything is new from the furniture to the rugs to the paint. The condo is a three minute walk to Lion's Head and about a 7 minute walk to the center of Vail Village and 2 minutes to the bus. The owner of the condo is super great and very attentive if you have questions or concerns, Management is helpful, parking easy. The condo looks out on a pool. Great value in Vail Village is just about unheard of. It ain't the Four Seasons so calibrate your expectations accordingly. You'll be happy here.

We had a great time in Vail. We stayed at the Vail International and had plenty of space for everyone. I travelled with my son, his girlfriend, and my daughter. The apartment was lovely and spacious and fit our needs perfectly.
We were able to go up the street to Safeway and buy groceries to make breakfasts every morning. The kitchen was fully stocked and prepared for us to cook most things.
Walking to the lifts in the morning was a little challenging because it is about a 10 minute walk with all the equipment, but it was not too far.
The hot tub was lovely and very relaxing.
Great trip! -

We had a great stay in Vail. The condo is very nice, comfortable, clean, updated and centrally located. Easy parking, access to ski locker and nice hot tub and pool. We easily walked to the Lionshead lifts and gondola or Vail Village for dinner and shopping. The shuttle was also very convenient.
We were cozy and warm. The hot water was hot, and the water pressure was good. The cook in our party appreciated that the kitchen was well outfitted. We had a really nice time and hope to visit again! -

San Anselmo, CAGreat location.
Left on 02/25/2012 for a stay in February 2012
This comfortable, well-furnished condo is within easy walking distance of Lionshead and Vail Village and has a view of the Lionshead ski runs. The condo is carefullly furnished and cared for as a home - not merely as a rental unit - and has new comfortable chairs and couches in the living room (with a gas fireplace) and a large and comfortable dining area. Although we never cooked, the kitchen is well-equipped.
We walked to the Lionshead lifts each morning to ski and into Vail Village each night. The condo complex has a heated outdoor pool and a large hot tub/spa next to the pool.
The free Vail shuttle bus stops in front of the Dobson Ice arena on the road directly in front of the condo complex. The bus stop is a two minute walk from the condo. The easy-on/easy-off bus runs every ten minutes or less and travels from Lionshead to the far end of Vail Village and back in a continuous loop and could not be easier to use. -

Left on 02/21/2012 for a stay in February 2012
My husband and I stayed here this past weekend and had just a wonderful time. Everything about the condo is great from the location to the decor to the feel. You truly feel comfortable from the time you step into it. Close enough to walk to the gondola, close to the bus if you want to shuttle, yet far enough away that you can truly get away and relax. Joyce is wonderful to work with and we hope to come back again and again.

All I can say is wow! We have stayed at several mid-price properties in Vail before and most were pretty dingy. So we was thrilled with this unit from the minute we opened the door. The first thing you see is the beautiful granite topped kitchen and the view of the mountain. Everything is made to be cozy and everything is new. Leather couches, glass enclosed shower and vessel sink. Nice touches everywhere. I loved the pool and waterfall hottub. We were afraid we'd have to walk up stairs or use an elevator, but we could park right in front of the unit. One thing: the owners seem to be very selective as to who they rent to. They are pretty concerned about finding people who are mature and responsible. They get to know you and are so communicative. They answer any questions you have right away. This will be where we stay in Vail from now on:)

This was a very pleasant rental experience!!! The apt is super cute, very clean, modern amenities, a fireplace, walk to the slopes or take the convenient shuttle bus service to lionshead gondola or vail village, well equipped kitchen that came with an array of spices, olive oil and other basic cooking supplies. We had a great time. The hot tub is wonderful after a hard day on the slopes,

DenverA Truly Great Place
Left on 01/02/2012 for a stay in December 2011
My wife and I spent the New Years weekend and loved our stay. The condo is in a great location for both skiing and overall enjoying all Vail has to offer. It is close enough to walk to the Gondola which we did and also get to Lionshead and Vail Village for shopping and eating. The condo itself is well furnished and has a great feel to it. The view of the mountains is spectacular. The owners were very accommodating and checked in often to make sure our stay was great. And it was. We will be back for sure.

We booked this condo for Thanksgiving week even though there were no reviews. As it turned out, this was the best vacation! Everything was brand new. Gorgeous granite and knotty alder cabinets. Custom painting and brand new beds, leather furniture... I could go on and on;) The "Welcome Basket" was a nice touch by the owners who were always in communication and most helpful. Add that to the locale, this place has to be one of the best deals we've ever run into. Between the heated pool and hot tub under the stars, and convenient free shuttle, we never had to get in our car. We wanted to come back later in the year but it was already booked. We will make this place our first choice for next year.

While I didn't short term this unit, I rented it long term, winter and spring for 6 years, before owners upgraded it. The location is excellent, walking distance to Lionshead or Vail and close to free in-town shuttle. The owners were good to work with and the complex offers many amenities, pool, hot tub, washer, dryer and good front desk people to get info from. There is also a covered parking space close to unit.

Owner
Actually, there is NOT a covered space, but there ARE three directly in front of our unit & so the chances of one being open are good;)
At first I was disappointed in the 3 star rating (as our previous Colorado rental got all 5 stars) but considering the fact that this condo was rented long term, unfurnished and had not been updated since the 70s, 3 stars is actually good;) Thanks!
