We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy this property. We are pleased to read that you rated our service and check in procedures high. In speaking with our entire staff and looking at all of our notes, we are not showing that you communicated any problems to us during your stay. We certainly would have worked hard to resolve any issues that you had with the property, particularly the heat. We are going to be looking into the issue now. We do hope that you give us the opportunity to have you stay with us again.

Tampa Ron
Tampa, FLAn aging Unit in need of work
Left on 04/21/2010 for a stay in April 2010
The location was great, but after that it was all downhill. Having a third-
floor walk-up (34 steps) with no elevator was a very difficult thing. That
should have been noted in your write up and disclosed by your agent. The
Unit is obviously past its prime. The heat was too warm in the Master
bedroom and too cold in the rest of the Unit, resulting in my having to get
up several times each evening to open and close the sliding glass door to
the Master in order to cool the room to where I could sleep as the room had
no window, leaving me exposed to anyone who might have wanted to
wander in from the connecting balcony. When I mentioned it to your
maintenance guy, he shrugged and said what can you expect from a 35 year
old Unit? BAD answer! The single beds in the second bedroom were
ridiculously small and uncomfortable. The hot water knob in the master
bath shower broke while we were there, though your maintenance guy came
immediately to fix it. The kitchen was OK, however. Overall, not a very
memorable or comfortable experience and certainly not worth what we paid
for it. I would absolutely NOT recommend this Unit to anyone and will be
much more careful when booking in Vail again.Response from Prudential Colorado Properties - 04/21/2010

Thank you for your review. Lionshead Arcade is a fantastic location as you mentioned just steps away from the gondola. This property had many upgrades in the past few years and the owner is planning on doing some additional upgrading this spring and summer. We will also look into the heat situation with the building manager and try to regulate the heat better.

PennsylvaniaLocation is great! Let that be why you rent here.
Left on 03/18/2010 for a stay in March 2010
The ad said it would be a 2 or 3 flight of stairs walk up and we were prepared for that, but it grew old fast and especially when my 11 year old sprained her ankle on the 3rd day. The condo is fine, but has little view, no outside areas to note, access to pool/hottub requires a bus ride or car. Kitchen was updated, but bathrooms were small and required a step UP into (strange floor plan), afraid someone would trip in the middle of the night. None of the transportation services had ever heard of Lionshead Arcade and did not know where to drop us off or pick us up at. All that said, the overall location was fantastic - you could walk to slopes, gondola, groceries, restaurants, ski school, ice skating rink, bus stop in under a 100yds. That's what drew us to the location and for the location, it could not have been beat! Price was very reasonable, given its location. PS - Vail Medical Center is also fantastic!!

Thank you for taking the time to fil out a review. The owner of the property is doing a full remodel at the end of the 2010 ski season. While this will not increase the square footage, it will make the experience even more enjoyable.

The location was perfect. Everything in Vail was in easy walking distance and the condo is in the center of restaurants and shops. The patio was full of fire wood which meant we couldn't use the space even to stand outside. There was no room in bedroom closets to put any of our things as they were so full of extra comforters, pillows, humidifiers, fans & brooms. When we called Prudential Properties with a problem they were very nice and a manintenance person arrived within the hour. Overall the property met our needs but I don't think I would stay in the same place again.

Left on 07/22/2009 for a stay in July 2009
Condo was very clean and wonderfully located. Very convient and perfectly suited for our stay. The only suggestion I would have is that the ventilation is inadequate and we had to use the box fans that were provided. Loved it otherwise and will stay there again if the opportunity arises.
