DenverBeautiful condo with a great view of Vail, walking distance to G
Left on 03/14/2013 for a stay in February 2013
My family had a great time staying at this condo. Everything has been upgraded and we had everything we needed to make 'home' cooked meals. The balcony and kitchen view looks directly into Lionshead and we loved watching the bikers ride down the mountain at night. It was a short walk over the pedestrian bridge to the village (10 min tops).
My complaints would be trying to work with the SunVail Management company. Since the owners chose Vail Management Co, the SunVail office was less than willing to help out when we needed something. We were only allowed to park 1 car which was a pain trying to find free/affordable parking for our other car. SunVail would also leave notes and offer discounts for renting through them next time.
The other thing was we wished there were pool towels available. It is a short walk to the hot tub but we never made it knowing we only had little bath towels to cover up in the 10 degree weather.
Other than that we really enjoyed our stay at this condo and would recommend it to someone looking to have a fun and affordable time at Vail!

Ashburn, VAA fantastic place to stay
Left on 03/15/2012 for a stay in March 2012
The reservation process was very easy. The information provided via email was easy to understand and very accurate. The condo location was great (as described). The amenities in the condo were just what we were looking for - clean, well-appointed, great view of the slopes. We didn't use the pool or hot tub...too much great snow for skiing!

We spend 2-4 weeks a year in Vail. spread over summer and winter. We have stayed in this location multiple times, and it has become our go-to spot while in Vail. This particular unit has been updated, and is very clean. The location is great, as are the amenities. An easy walk to the gondola, with ski storage provided within 50 feet of the gondola.

The condo was spacious and very comfortable! It had a nice, "at home" feeling. The updated appliances and the recently-renovated decor were great quality. We were very comfortable and relaxed during our stay! We will definitely return!

The condo was great. A little bit overpriced, and not in the location that I thought it was going to be, but the unit itself was beautiful. Be prepared for the property manager. He is awful!!!

Gardnerville, NVExcellent value, well-appointed condo
Left on 02/19/2011 for a stay in February 2011
The condo was recently renovated and very nicely done. The kitchen has top of the line appliances. It was well-stocked with everything needed for cooking and serving meals. There were penalty of extra towels, pillows, etc.
I also liked the convenience of going directly to the condo and having the key available in the lock box.
The ski valet service was excellent. The service is really required given the walk to the lifts.
The pool and hot tub were clean and nice.
Maid service was good.
The only negative point was the service from the management company. On arrival, the gas fireplace didn't work. I called the management company in the morning and reported the fireplace not working and the fireplace remote missing. I was told that they would ask "housekeeping? to find the remote. When we returned, there was a note telling us to find the remote. I tried to reach the management company...no answer. I tried to escalate ... no response. Recommend the management company follow a basic customer service principle, that is, follow up on customer calls!

Bentonville, AR2nd time @ this lovely rental
Left on 07/31/2010 for a stay in July 2010
This is the second summer in a row we've stayed at this particular vacation rental unit. Its nicely equipped, very close to the pedestrian walkway over to Lionshead. We came back because our visit last year was so wonderful. Unfortunately my husband left behind two belts in the master closet & my daughter left a small bag with a few cosmetics. I contacted the management when my family discoverd they'd forgotten these items, just 3 days after checkout. The unit was not rented following us so Greg told me they should be able to recover our items & would call to get a Credit card in order to fed ex our stuff to us. No phone call came. I contacted the rental office by phone leaving messages & also emailed inquiring about our things and no one ever returned our calls after 5 or 6 messages/emails. Nice way to treat returning customers. Guess we'll have to find somewhere else to stay next year. I found the management company's lack of response & concern offensive. We even tipped the maid service! So either the management company did nothing about checking the unit or the maid service helped themselves to our belongings. Either way, bad form!!!

NYCGreat location; great value; BEAUTIFUL condo
Left on 03/10/2010 for a stay in March 2010
My family group of 6 stayed in SunVail 22B during the first week of March 2010 and really enjoyed the condo. It's very well kept and had all of hte amenities we needed. The online photos are accurate. We had a small issue with a clogged sink, but that was promptly resolved. Checkin and checkout were easy, and having ski storage at the base of the slopes was very convenient. The views of the slopes from the condo were very nice. We had no complaints, and would definitely stay there again.

Acton Magreat vacation in vail
Left on 01/27/2010 for a stay in January 2010
The home we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. It was picked up every
day without any inconvienence to us. Very nice views of the mountain. It is
a walk to Lions Head, but not too bad. Mother Nature didn't really cooperate
with us. We didn't have any new snow for about ten days. But the mountain
was well groomed and we had great days skiing. The last day we were treated
with a little storm and it was terrific. The best thing about our stay was
having the skis and equipment valeted at Lions Head. I would not want to
cross the bridge to the condo in ski boots. I loved coming off the mountain
and having someone right there to take my boots and skis and be able to put
my shoes on right away. That was truly awesome! We had a great vacation
in Vail and can't wait to go back!!! -

Houston, TexasThe condo is in excellent condition and extremely well equipped.
Left on 09/03/2009 for a stay in August 2009
Vail Management was immediately responsive to any questions or problems that arose. We found the condo to be like a second home and enjoyed everything about it from the non slip surface in the tubs to the excellent toaster; however we did replace the can opener to spare our aching wrists.
The location was great with georgeous views of Vail Mountain, though coming from Houston, it took several days of adjusting to altitude to walk back to the condo from Lionshead without serious puffing to cross the walkway-overpass which is uphill homebound. One complaint: the hifi can't get anyting on FM. It needs an antenna.

OhioVery Nice Condo
Left on 10/21/2008 for a stay in February 2007
The condo is accurately advertised. It is very nice and very comfortable. I found the interior of the unit to be well maintained and clean. The unit offers a nice view of the mountain as well. The kitchen was well provisioned with the essential cooking supplies for those that want to eat at home.
There are several restaurants within a reasonable walking distance of the condo.
The 10-12 minute walk to the Eagle Bahn gondola is acceptable for an energtic person as long as ski equipment is stored at a rental shop or a storage facilitity closer to the lift. This would be a long daily walk in ski boots while carrying equipment.
