We stayed at this unit in February of 2011. It was absolutely excellent, and there are not many bad things we can say about it. The unit is bright, comfortable and well appointed. The pictures represent the unit quite well. It has high ceilings, large windows and sweeping views. Our group was seven people, including a 6 month old baby and it suited us well.
Most important is the location. It is under a 5 minute walk to the center of vail village and a fine walk in ski boots to the vista bahn or riva bahn lifts. You have all the quiet you need because you are just on the outskirts of the village, but walk half a block and you're starting to be in the middle of everything. The location is pretty much perfect. Absolute walking distance to everything in Vail Village.
The only very minor issue I had with the unit was some of the personalized things in the unit. There are several pictures of the family that own the unit all throughout. While they look like a lovely family, I think that when you rent a place you want it to feel like a rental condo, as opposed to a house you are staying in that clearly belongs to someone you don't know. Other rental units I've stayed at in other cities have been slightly more neutrally decorated from a personalization perspective. -

We had a great stay at Tyrolean 6! The condo is in a great location and is walking distance to all the lifts and shops. It was completely updated with nice furniture and appliances. I would definitely stay there again.

It was great in terms of family experience, skiing lessons and a great place to stay with a very fine service.
The place is very comfortable and is very well maintained. Everything looks good and works.
The place has everything you need for a good vacation.
