Hilton Head Islanddisappointed
Left on 01/16/2013 for a stay in December 2012
the unit was smaller than appeared in picture, but more importantly in poor condition. Two dining chairs were broken and unusuable. Only one sofa for a unit that slept 4+ persons. The floor lamp shade was burnt and
falling apart and the only lamp in unit. All furnishing were outdated and of poor quality. The loft was very
difficult to access and impossible to bring large luggage
up to. Need I say, I would never stay again or recommend to anyone. -

BermudaGood location
Left on 02/23/2011 for a stay in February 2011
We found the condo a very good location, however, the decor was dated and bland. Furnishings were not very good quality and some building materials had been left under the bed and closets in the loft were unfinished. Stairs to the loft bedroom were too steep and could pose a hazard in the middle of the night or when trying to carry items upstairs; there is scope for these to be adjusted. Property would greatly benefit from a "makeover". A small financial input could greatly improve it's appeal.

Overall, it was convenient, easy to go to and fine for our ski trip. My only comment was that one of the additional blankets in the closet had a blood stain on it, so apparently the laundering of the blankets is in question.

Everything was in order when we arrived. The studio is very nice and clean. Lots of sleeping area. The location is great!!..Lots of stairs though..no elevator to get the luggage or groceries..and the stairs to get to the upper dorm are very steep. But all in all I would stay there again. Thanks!!

The unit was very comfortable and very well appointed for a rental property. I was very happy w/ the location and was much closer to Vail Village than I expected and the bus was certainly close
Overlooking the 4 Seasons construction was not particularly a plus. -

Our group had stayed at another Vail Core Condo in the past and therefore had certain expectations. This unit was not as nice as the prior one, so it was a little disappointing, but overall it was a nice unit with a great location. There was not a washer and dryer as we thought. We did not love walking up the stairs to the units with luggage or after a day on the slopes (but that is an accepatable sacrifice for the location).

Philadelphia, PAClean, centrally located, as expected
Left on 02/19/2009 for a stay in February 2009
Very nicely located just a short block off the top of Bridge St. in Vail Village. Short walk to the lifts.
Walk to the Vista Bahn is about 6-7 blocks I suppose, though Vail Village "blocks" aren't like normal city blocks, they are much shorter. Suffice it to say it is a perfectly short and easy walk back and forth, though just a bit too long for walking in ski-boots. No worries, as a group of up to 6-7 can store their sneakers/shoes for $10 (so less than $2 a person) at Vail Sports right at the lift.
Condo itself is modestly but tastefully furnished, very clean and nice. Restaurants, shops, bars ... pretty much everything in very close walking distance.
Can't go wrong for the price. If you're looking for luxury, go elsewhere, but if you're looking for clean, tasteful and well-kept at a modest budget, this is your place.
(Oh, there is a bit of a pizza smell to the whole building as it is right above Pazzo's Pizza. No real bother though, but worth mentioning). -
