Comfortable beds and pillows, was really happy about this. The room had a basket for us filled with quite a few treats/snacks which were complimentary and entirely unexpected. Really friendly and helpful staff. It is located very close to the gondola and right in the center of vail village so that it is convenient to walk to any of a wide variety of restuarants. The parking is right out front and so easy to get to your car. Also there is a great bear cafe right out front that serves delicious breakfast options. You can walk further, which we did just to try the food at Bol. Eclectic menu that is really tasty. We stayed for two days. Will definitely keep this one in mind the next time we come. We got lucky and it had snowed a bit the days before our arrival so our first day skiing was perfect as well!

I was so pleased with the location and the very friendly staff, not to mention the absolutely gorgeous scenery and well kept town of Vail village. However, I can't give more than 3 stars due to the beds. I would expect at these prices that there would be much better matresses (my bed at home is far more comfortable) as well as soft and luxurious sheets. These were more comparable to the Comfort Inn, rather than such a beautiful & pricey hotel in Vail. My husband didn't sleep for 2 nights straight and thought it could have been from the altitude, but we live at 5000 ft to start with, so it wasn't like we were not used to it. Then his back really started to hurt when we got back and he was pretty useless for the next couple days. My suggestion: Keep everything exactly the same, but please update your beds and linens.

DenverCute but very noisy.

Christiania at Vail has one of the best locations in Vail Village. It is a lovely, charming, clean, well managed property. Whether it was just our rooom, or some other circumstances, our two nights there were absolutely the loudest I have ever spent in a hotel. We could hear the people in the room above us as clearly as if they had shared our room. The private party in the lounge down the hall was so loud we had trouble hearing the television in our room. What a shame. Better soundproofing would really improve the Christiania.

I found the hotel charming with class. The staff was very friendly.
I was thrilled to find breakfast included, but quite disappointed in the offerings. It was not a European continental breakfast as advertised as we have travelled in Europe and experienced their full continental breakfasts. Otherwise, everything was fine, location great, free parking. A great choice overall. -

We've been coming to the Christiania at Vail for about 20 years. We've stayed in the same room for the last 8 years. The only truly ski-in/ski-out hotel in Vail.

This is all about location, location, location!
What a gem. Warm surroundings, great views, comfortable beds, friendly help/service. Ski in Ski out to Vista Bahn lift, ski concierge to help with your ski storage. Small bar that gets busy but closes early to avoid late night noise/problems with sleeping guests. Walls are thin though, at least in 204 they are, but a phone call to Momo (mgr) all was taken care of.
Will return certainly next year.
Keep up the good work. -

I try to get to vail one week every month, never on a holiday week and mostly during the week. If you had some type of a frequent guest program, I would always stay there if possible. Tim Kelly

Nice quiet and well appointed. Biggest distractor was no elevator and you are going up two flights. If you have heavy bags, its a work out carrying your bags from parking area up 3 flights to the condo. Was well located, and comfortable condo with a lovely hot pool. We had a great time and would recommend

Overall, my husband and I had a wonderful stay. The hotel was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and the helpful staff. Perfect location next to the lift. Only thing that was distracting was the visitors in the room above our floor which would wake us up at night/early morning either by walking around or using the bathroom/shower.
