      Awesome location!

Left on 02/14/2013 for a stay in January 2013

We stayed for 2 nights over MLK Day and had a good time at the Christiana. The rooms are a little small, and even tighter once we added a rollaway bed for my son, but it was worth it to be so close to the village and gondola. Breakfast was good and the lady that made breakfast each morning was very personable. The only negative was that the down pillows needed more feathers...or needed to be replaced? They were fairly flimsy.

      We would stay again.

      Beautiful Scenery with great location

Left on 08/22/2012 for a stay in August 2012

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at The Christiana Lodge in Vail this summer. We took advantage of a great deal through Living Social. The only problem was the lack of air conditioning and the bed pillows were too soft.We would definitely recommend this lodge which had clean rooms, and the staff was very helpful. The location was near Vail Village and close to free shuttle bus to Lionshead Village. Great bicycle trails, the Ford amphitheatre was just a short bike ride away past ski lift 12.

Comfortable rooms and best location in Vail!

Left on 03/07/2012 for a stay in February 2012

Another great week spent skiing in while staying at Christiana.
The owners & operators of this property are like good friends that really want you to enjoy your stay.
The rooms are showing a little wear but don't let that keep you from enjoying the close proximity to Vail Village and the chair lift.
You can't beat ski in - ski out at the bottom of Vail Village.
On site parking is a big bonus, and breakfast buffet, while a full menu is not available, it is substantial enough to get your day started.
Wonderful, hassle free stay. Well done, see you next year.

The Lodge that treats you as Family

Left on 02/29/2012 for a stay in February 2012

This place feels like home. The staff is friendly and eager to please. The location is the best in Vail. They do not do nightly turn down so you have to call for more towels everyday and you need 2 controls to turn on the TV!

      Family Wedding Comfort

Left on 09/22/2011 for a stay in September 2011

We stayed at the Christiania for a family wedding in Vail. We were very comfortable at the Christiania and found the lodge to be very accomodating for our large group. It was fantastic to meet in their quaint breakfast room anytime of the day. The continental breakfast each morning certainly satisfied our needs with fresh fruit, pastry, yogurt and cereal. It was super to have coffee, tea, cider and cocoa available to us all day long. The staff was very accomodating, too. Aside from clean rooms and fresh towels, we certainly appreciated using their large umbrellas during the inclement weather. We recommend the Christiania to anyone during their stay in Vail.

great location bueatiful views and we had a very large patio could hear the creek running rates were summer and very affoardable for the area had good parkin close im handicapped and it takes a little extra work to find way in with out stairs once inside elevator is available cute charming great breakfast in morning overall it was a 4 out of 5 off season now no bell hop to help with luggage and since the stairs the customer service person who checked us in did offer to help but she got busy and we didnt want to take her away from other guests on this trip we stayed in five different resorts from breckinriidge to vail aspen and beaver creek and snowmass snow mass was the only location that was fully staffed with bell hops valets everything was open and working the view of the people in colorado resort areas is that it is a pain for them to be open i think because things are so much more exspencive in winter tat ther e tips and things go down so they have a poor attitude and this adds up to bad service in summer the only place we got incredable service was four seasons and the silvertree in snowmass which was the cheapest hotel we stayed in for are three week trip a rate if your savey was 69.00 per night four seasons ws the nicest property we stayed and the price of 300. per night christiana was very nice if you like a quiant atmosphere nice big room it was great for us and the rates there were nice as well at about 120 i think it was a long trip

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at the Inn. We originally spent a night at the Christiania Lodge on our honneymoon in 1970. The lodge has changed a lot since then. We really enjoyed hearing the stream outside our door at night. We also lilked the fact that we could walk to the center of town. The decor was great. We hope to come back again before another 40 years pass.

      Extremely uncomfortably hot room!

Left on 12/14/2010 for a stay in October 2010

Everything about this pleasant room with bath and balcony was fine except that it was so hot I was forced to sleep with the windows and the door to the balcony wide open. I think it must be over the boiler or furnace. It was a cold night in early October.
