The bright and elegantly styled 4**** Oxalys complex is located in a quiet and sunny district on the edge of the ski slopes as you come in to the resort of Val Thorens. It offers spacious and comfortable apartments for 2 to 8 people, relaxation centres with pools, spas (jacuzzi), saunas, steam room and massage rooms, a bar and a gourmet Michelin Star restaurant.

Val Thorens, located at an altitude of 2300 metres in the middle of a superb natural corrie and at the top of the largest linked ski area in the world... - the Three Valleys - offers superb snow and skiing conditions from late November to early May. This impressive ski area is suitable for skiers of all ages and all levels; with its mixture of powdery snow fields and perfectly groomed runs, there's a pace and a slope for everyone.

The ski slopes are right on your doorstep; the 4 **** complex is a ski-in, ski-out establishment. There is a day-care centre for children 150 metres downhill from the residence.

Please note that to make your holiday more enjoyable, getting around easier and snow clearance safer, Val Thorens is a semi-pedestrian resort. Remember to book your parking space, either at the residence when you book your apartment, or through Val Tho Parc (Tel. +33 (0)479 000 249 www.valthoparc.com).

It offers 36 spacious and comfortable apartments for 2 to 8 people with free WIFI access, a bar and a gourmet Michelin Star (2*) restaurant l’Oxalys (www.restaurant-loxalys.fr).

The Oxalys complex has two relaxation centres with pools, spas (jacuzzi), saunas, steam room and massage rooms. In the residence you will also find a SPORT 2000 sports shop, one seminar room and an underground car park (26 spaces, with extra charge) and a laundry with washing machine and dryer (with extra charge).

Depending on your requirements, a wide variety of hotel services are available to make your holiday easier.

The two-room apartment for 2/4 people measures 35m².

It has a living room with a trundle bed for 2 people, 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 shower room and 1 toilet. The kitchenette is equipped with 2 electric rings, 1 micro wave/grill and 1 small fridge.

Every apartment has a telephone line (payable), a flat screen TV with DVD player, and offers a balcony.

  Comfortable, cosy, pleasant.

  We came for a week, a family of 4.
  On the whole a nice and pleasant flat, helpful staff, nice if a little small spa. For experienced skiers, the location is superb, a true ski in/out place.
  
  However, if you have beginners within your group, reaching the schools' gathering grounds is not easy, walking with unfamilar ski equipment ont snow between the skiers, Like my wife and daughter had to do, at least for 3 days till they gathered enough confidence to try and ski there.
  The only way to overcome this is to have private guides, who will collect and return the ski students from the ski room door. Expensive.
