Val Thorens, located at an altitude of 2300 metres in the middle of a superb natural corrie and at the top of the largest linked ski area in the world - the Three Valleys - offers superb snow and skiing conditions from late November to early May. This impressive ski area is suitable for skiers of all ages and all levels; with its mixture of powdery snow fields and perfectly groomed runs, there's a pa...ce and a slope for everyone.
Please note that to make your holiday more enjoyable, getting around easier and snow clearance safer, Val Thorens is a semi-pedestrian resort. The 3 *** “Lombarde” residence is ideally located in the calmest area of Val Thorens. The complex is South and South-West facing, and enjoys hours of glorious sunshine. This tranquil spot has everything you need for a great skiing holiday.
The slopes are right on your doorstep; the complex is a ski-in, ski-out establishment. For children, a children's club and day-care centre are located in the Roc de Péclet building, which is very close to the complex and easy to walk to.
There is a baker's shop directly opposite the complex as well as a lift to the Péclet shopping centre (two-minute walk away). Val Thorens' second shopping centre, which has plenty of shops and restaurants, is just a five-minute walk away, as is the sports centre, which has a children's fun park, swimming pools, spas, saunas, a steam room and a range of other sport and relaxing bodycare treatment facilities.
The Lombarde residence is perfect for families with children, and offers 9 warm and welcoming apartments for 6, 8 or 12 people, all of which are highly spacious and fitted with an open fireplace.
The 4 room apartments for 8 persons on 3 levels measures 95m².
It has a sitting room with fireplace and dining area, 1 bedroom with a large double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 large bedroom with 4 single beds, 1 bathroom and 1 shower room and 2 toilets, one of them separate.
The separate kitchen is equipped with oven, microwave, family-size fridge with freezer compartment, 4 ceramic hobs, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee-maker and toaster.
Every apartment has a telephone with direct line (payable), one flat screen TV (DVD player available free of charge on request), free WIFI access and a safe deposit box. All apartments have a balcony.
A private ski box in the ski room is available to the residents. Baby equiment ( cot and highchair) is also available free of charge on request.
