Our vacation home is located just 20 minutes from Wild Adventures Theme Park and 30 minutes from Valdosta, Georgia. We are on a beautiful, spring-fed lake just over the Florida/Georgia border. Enjoy a relaxing and peaceful vacation away from it all.

Our home has 4 BR, 3.5 baths located on Cherry Lake, nestled in a very rural setting yet close enough to everything you need. Cherry Lake is ideal for swimming, skiing, tubing, jet skis, canoe, kayack, windsurfing, sailing and fishing. Our home has its own private dock.

The property is covered with large oaks and huge cypress trees. Nature abounds in this rural setting. You may see o...tters playing along the shore and a bald eagle is not an unusual sight. The lake is well stocked with large mouth bass, speckled perch, brim and catfish. In the evening enjoy a marshmallow roast or a campfire sing-along in the outdoor campfire area.

There are three bedrooms with a king bed in each room, two downstairs and one up. The fourth bedroom has two sets of QUEEN size bunk beds. These bunk beds were hand-crafted from the left over logs from the construction of the home. You can easily sleep 8 kids in this room.

This home is an authentic cypress log home. It has hard-wood floors. Our home is large and spacious and easily accommodates two to three families. Great for small family reunions, church groups or a family getaway. If you love nature, you will love this slice of heaven!

So quite and peaceful, during the week you may share the lake with only three or four other boats. Great for tubing, skiing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing and all other water sports. Bring your boat and have a blast! Don't have a boat, swimming right off the dock is one of our favorite pastimes.

If theme park fun is what you're looking for, Wild Adventures is just 20 minutes away. This has got to be North Florida and South Georgia's best-kept secret. No long lines and something to do for the entire family, at a great value. With a variety of roller coasters, shows and wildlife, Wild Adventures is a theme park where you can really get the most for your money. Wild Adventures has opened their new water park, which promises to deliver some relief to those hot summer days in the South.

  Rented this log home over the New Years holiday. What a great way to start the year. This home is right on Cherry Lake and the setting is beautiful. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch drinking hot chocolate and watching the spectacular sunsets. The house encourages being outside with the porch, a rope swing and a great yard where we played horseshoes and croquet. There is a nice dock where we fished and tied up our boat. The cedars on the way to the dock are amazing. Inside, the house could easily accommodate two families. All of the bedrooms are very private and have their own baths. The bedrooms all have a theme and they have been beautifully decorated. You will fight over the "bear room" and that fantastic bedspread! The house was immaculate when we checked in. The kitchen was fully equipped and made entertaining easy. Great scrapbook showing the construction of the house and offering local suggestions. Rental process was very easy, owner was very accommodating. Looking forward to coming back in the summer and going to Great adventures!
