This popular, south facing link detached villa stands in a large private garden on the well-known Dunas Douradas resort. The villa is within easy reach of the shops and restaurants at 'Bougainvillea Plaza' and 'Quinta Shopping' centres.

The property has an ideal location, near to the famous golf courses of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo and the beach with its choice of excellent beach restaurants is approximately 1.2km away.

As well as having your own private pool, guests have the use of the Dunas Douradas facilities which are just 150m away. They include, a 24 hour reception, large Roman style pool (communal), children's pool,... bar/café, tennis, and restaurants both at Dunas Douradas and also at the Beach Club which is a five minute walk away. You will also find a gym, fitness classes and children club at the Beach Club (supplement charges apply)

The villa is alarmed and air conditioning throughout, ther is also a safe.

The ground floor accommodation consists of a comfortable lounge/dining room with a modern fireplace and patio doors which take you out to the garden and pool area. The lounge has a large Flat screen TV with cable TV channels, including sky sports. There is also a DVD player and MP3 player. Wireless broadband is included.

Through an archway from the lounge is the kitchen which is modern and well equipped. There is an Electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine.

Two of the three bedrooms are located on the ground floor.

The first is a twin room with two windows offering views out to the garden and pool. There is a flat screen TV with cable channels. This bedroom has an en suite shower room.

The second bedroom is a double room. The window looks out over the garden and pool. There is a flat screen TV with cable channels. A shower room is located across the hall from this room.

The first floor of this property houses the recently refitted Master bedroom. It has a Queen-size bed, Flat screen TV with cable channels and an en suite bathroom with overhead shower. Patio doors from the bedroom lead out onto a large private terrace with access down to the garden and pool area.

Outside, is the lovely garden, with plenty of garden furniture. Grass wraps around the side of the villa. The pool measuring 8m x5m can be heated on request at a supplement. A brick built barbeque and large table and chairs provides an area dining outside on those warm evenings.Read more

The 5 star luxury resort of Dunas Douradas, translating to 'golden sand dunes' in Portuguese, is located between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo on the Algarve coast.   This is the best villa we have rented in Dunas Douradas. It is superb with huge level garden and large heated pool plus only two minutes walk to the comunal pool, bar and restaurant. It is an easy walk to the beach either at Marias or Julias. Every year we come back and the owners have made further improvements. This year they had all new lounge furniture and also new beds-everything is new now - they even built an outside shower room and toilet. Oh and new dining furniture on the terrace just beautiful. Seating areas on both upstairs and downstairs terraces - spoiled for choice there is so much outside space. There are 3 bedrooms all with flat screen TVs in each room - good for some time out from the sun for the kids. It is spotless. Recommend dining in Xenia and the Dunas Douradas Beach Club both with great food and service and within walking distance. We also tried the new Parrilla Natural restaurant this year and would recommend. Definately recommend this villas for young and old - it is very level with no stairs downstairs inside or out.

  I have 3 kids aged 5 to 10 and this was a perfect location for them! The communal pool , bar and restaurant were close by when we wanted company. The pool and villa were lovely when we wanted peace, and the beach was an easy walk away with more places to eat and drink.

  villas on the dunas complex. Our family have spent the last 5 years holidaying on the Dunas complex and this villa is the best one we have found. The outside pool area where you want to spend time is spacious and the swimming pool is a terrific size. The villa is clean and very comfortable with a modern kitchen. The central shared pool is a great place to meet other families and relax with a drink and the surrounding area has everything to offer. The beach is a manageable walk and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from and its lieterally only a 25 minutes from the airport. Enjoyed it so much have booked again for 2012
