Beautiful, ideal location and very spacious

Left on 06/30/2012 for a stay in June 2012

Just returned from staying here with my brother. We were both delighted with the apartment. It is very well furnished, excellent kitchen and lovely old balconies. I would recommend the taxi service organised by the owner - the taxi driver was really welcoming and gave me a little tour of Valetta on the way from the airport (no extra cost). We had Maltese friends over on evening and they loved it - were very impressed with the tiled floor 'just like my grandmother had' and also the view form the roof. As others have mentioned, it is noisy as the streets are narrow so sound bounces up in to the flat. Take earplugs and also mosquito repellent (not lots of mozzies but it only takes one to cover me in itchy bites it turns out!).
The flat is comfortable, clean, large light airy and beautiful, the owner is very helpful and the price is good. Highly recommended!

      Well presented flat

Left on 05/29/2012 for a stay in November 2011

The apartment in St Dominics Street is clean and well presented, a few minutes walk from the main shopping area in central Valletta.
The views from the apartment roof are good.
It is advisable to take a torch in the evenings when entering after dark, because the stair lighting timer does not give sufficient time to reach the second floor.

      Family holiday in La Valetta

Left on 05/28/2012 for a stay in April 2012

The appartment is very spacious, well furnished and equiped in a nice local style. Nice little balcony...we really enjoyed our stay. Wonderful view of Valetta from the roof of the building. Very central in valetta.
The only "less good thing" is that the windows are old and you hear the sounds of the street very well...but for us it was our fist vacation with our 4 months old daughter so we went sleeping auite early:)

Great location - right in the middle of Valletta

Left on 05/12/2012 for a stay in April 2012

This large apartment is situated on the 2nd floor of a 5-storey traditionally-built building. The location is perfect for discovering Valletta and Malta - the bus station is a 10 minute walk away. There are many good restaurants and small food shops within short walking distance, and the central square of Valletta is only a few minutes away.As it is a traditionally-built building, you should be prepared for some noise - both from the street and from the other apartments - but that is what you would expect from being in such a central position. On the whole, the apartment was comfortable and well-equipped (although the choice of TV stations was limited). We recommend the pick-up service from the airport which is offered by the owner. If you can make it to the roof (it`s on the 6th floor) you get a great view over the harbour. We were lucky to see a firework display over the harbour from the roof, which was great.

Home in the middle of Valletta

Left on 05/03/2012 for a stay in January 2012

We stayed at this apartment for a month in January. The welcome and service were good - from the taxi organised to take us there from the airport, to the rapid response when we pointed out that none of the available TV channels was in English, support when we failed to get the shower to work, and friendly manner of the cleaner who signposted the location of shops etc.
The apartment is roomy for two. We didn't use the dining room at all. There is a washing machine but, since we were there in winter, we would have appreciated a tumble dryer. Otherwise there are all mod cons. We went to the gardens overlooking the Grand Harbour, just at the bottom of the road, in order to sit in the sunshine and read. It was warmer there than in the apartment, although there was a gas fire and plenty of replacement cylinders.
The location is fabulous! The apartment is within walking distance of shops (including the market), buses, many of the tourist attractions, bars and restaurants. It is just a few doors down from Nenu's restaurant where I would recommend you take your first meal in Malta, prior to shopping for food.
We were able to feel totally at home in this beautiful and interesting city.
