TaylorvilleThe cabin was very nice there was a wasp issue.
Left on 09/03/2012 for a stay in August 2012
When we first arrived at the cabin there was a very nice lady that met us. She showed us around then left. After 10 minutes of being there we noticed we had a wasp problem. We killed probably 5 or 6 then noticed there were probably 10 more up in the top window in the living room. I called the owner he gave me a sorry excuse that we were in the woods and I could go back in town and buy bug spray. I had told him the problem should had been resolved before we got there. He did'nt seem to care at all that they were in the house. Then proceeded to say well I can give you a refund of your money. Who wants a refund after they've drove 4 1/2 hours away. Anyway's to say the least the cabin was very nice but if a problem did accure it probably would'nt be getting fixed so beware!

Carbondale, ILWonderful Experience
Left on 07/27/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We had a group of 9 friends that stayed for 2 nights! The owner, Dennis, was awesome and generous with his time and knowledge of the area. The cabin is top notch and has everything you would need. The "Landing" provided our group with tube rental and shuttle directly from the cabin. We have done the current river several times and this was the best trip yet! Thanks Dennis - we will rent again!

Left on 07/14/2011 for a stay in July 2011
We rented this cabin with two other families. We were welcomed by the owner Dennis Young, he was very nice and made us feel right at home. The cabin was above and beyond what we exspected and everyone was very comfortable. The boat dock was awesome and so convient where we were able to leave our boat and just relax by the river in the evening.

Jackson, TNGreat 5 Star cabin!
Left on 07/05/2011 for a stay in July 2011
Don't hesitate to book this cabin. We have stayed in Van Buren before at a couple of the motels and this far exceeds anything else we have found available there. There was a group of 9 of us that stayed 3 nights. The cabin is brand new and huge. It is most definitely big enough to accommodate 10 people. The owner met us the first night (even though we couldn't get there until around 11 pm) to check us in personally and give us a tour of the cabin and access to Current River. The road to the river was steep but we did not have any problems going up or down it.There is a boat dock and access to enter the river from there. We actually spent one day out there and some enjoyed it more than the day we floated the river. The pictures with the listing are very accurate. Overall the cabin was great and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay there again.
